One of the best experiences of my life.
The experience was so good and different. We enjoyed swimming under a fall and saw great parts if nature very closely. The glow was incredible at night under the moonlight.
Magnom , our guide is professional and knowledgeable, kind and helpful.
The dinner was very pleasant.

Excellent tour guide and great value for money
Dug was an incredible tour guide. Very knowledgeable on the land. Made the tour all the more enjoyable. Excellent value for money. I did not expect to see so many glow worms. It really was breath taking. I would definitely recommend.
Operator response
hank you so much for the kind words! We're thrilled Dug's knowledge of the land made the tour so enjoyable, and that the glow worms left such a lasting impression — that reaction is exactly why we love sharing this experience. Thanks for recommending us, and we hope to see you again on another adventure soon.

This was the best thing we did in Byron Bay!
Trip to the jungle, meanwhile the road towards in through the hinterlands is very beautiful. The bus is nice and modern, the driving safe.
The guide & founder is very friendly, knowledgeable and his spirit and care for nature and community is contagious. With soft music along the way, a chance to walk a short period in silence, and even a song by him on a beautiful windwood instrument, made the experience even more fulfilling. For adventure and a sense of belonging, you’re at the right place!
Operator response
Thank you so much for such a heartfelt review! We're so glad the drive through the hinterland set the tone for the day, and that the walk in silence and the music along the way added something special to the experience. It means a lot that our care for nature and community came through so clearly. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon.

Very special day with a wonderful tour guide
This tour was a very special tour to see the natural beauty outside Bryon Bay. Our tour guide Douglas was very passionate about sharing his love for this area of Australia. He had beautiful music by an local artist and told stories about the Aboriginal people. The glowworm experience was amazing and we got to visit a beautiful temple

Immersive, peaceful, and an unforgettable Experience
I had the most magical experience exploring the waterfalls, rainforest and glow worms. Our guide, Magnus, along with his son, made the entire journey feel incredibly special and personal. From the thoughtfully curated playlist to the organic dinner they organized, every detail was handled with so much care.
It truly felt like an authentic Byron Bay backyard experience - swimming in pristine waters, walking through lush rainforest, visiting Protesters Falls, and witnessing the breathtaking glowworms. What made it even more meaningful were the stories and insights shared along the way, which really stayed with me.
This wasn’t just a tour, it was an experience - immersive, peaceful, and unforgettable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to connect with nature in a deeper, more magical way.

100% would book again!
10/10 experience and totally worth it! Not only thanks to Dough, who really did an AMAZING job guiding us and providing us with so much information about the nature and history - but also thanks to the stunning places we got to visit. The national park is beyond beautiful and seeing the glow worms at night is a very unique experience. And as a vegan, I was so happy not having to trouble anyone with my dietary needs this time - thank you for that!

Good vibes and enjoyable nature tour😃
Chris was such a lovely tour guide. He has a great balance of care for you and passion for nature. He laid out the trip for us (much like in the details when you book) as we boarded and it helped us mentally prepare for the journey. I took a light swim at the first waterfall and enjoyed everyone’s camaraderie as we decided whether or not we would go in, haha. I would recommend water shoes if you do go in. Makes it a little easier. Our dinner was lovely! Bring your glasses if you have trouble seeing in the twilight hours or at night. The glow worm experience is really unique and the darker the better, so make sure your vision is at its crisp. There are plenty of stops for the bathroom. We made one extra lil stop to pick-up his adorable 6-year daughter who was his lil helper for the evening. Sometimes it’s nice to be reminded of different perspectives as you walk through nature. This is also something Chris reminds you of as he recommends a one-way picture/conversational walk, and the other way silent walk to/fro the waterfall. His flute playing at the glow-worm site topped it off perfectly^_^

Magical
If you want to get out of the beach and sun this is a must! Amazing experience and highly recommend. Was a drive to get back but worth the trip to see something different.
Operator response
Thank you so much for your lovely review! 🌿✨
We’re so happy you enjoyed stepping away from the beach and discovering a different side of Byron Bay. The rainforest, waterfalls and glowworms truly offer a completely unique experience compared to the coastline.
Yes, there is a bit of a scenic drive into the hinterland — but as you said, it’s absolutely worth it to explore the ancient Gondwana Rainforest and see something so special and different.
We really appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you back again one day!
