At Fushimi Sake Brewery Alley, we take a break for lunch in a lively local food area. Guests are free to choose what they like from a variety of restaurants, offering a chance to explore different local dishes at their own expense. It’s a flexible and relaxed stop where we can enjoy authentic Kyoto-style dining in a casual atmosphere.
At Teradaya, we visit a historic inn closely connected to the late Edo period and the samurai era. We learn about its role in key historical events in Fushimi, including stories of samurai who stayed here during times of political change. We explore the traditional building and gain insight into the atmosphere of old Kyoto, making it a meaningful stop to experience Japanese history up close.
At Fushimi Yumehyakusyu, we visit a stylish sake-themed café and shop located in a renovated historic building. We take a short break and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while learning more about Fushimi’s sake culture. Here, we also enjoy a tasting of nigori sake (cloudy sake), known for its rich, sweet flavor and smooth texture. Guests can also purchase local sake and souvenirs, making it a pleasant final stop to experience the charm of the Fushimi area.
