The Mount Moses Hike and St Catherine's Monastery Tour is the perfect way to experience the majestic beauty of Sinai. This exciting one-day tour starts with a hike through the biblical desert, where Moses is said to have reached the mountain of God. There you'll be rewarded with a stunning sunrise overviewing of the mountains. After your hike, you will be taken to visit the beautiful and historical St. Catherine's Monastery, which is one of the oldest monastery to continually exist. Inside, you'll have a chance to learn more about the history of this special place, which is home to some of the earliest documents of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. By the end of your visit, you'll leave with an appreciation for both the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage that Egypt has to offer. This tour is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, so there's something for everyone to enjoy, If you don't want to hike you can opt in for a camel ride all the way up the mountain.

Your Journey will start at approx. 8:30 pm where our AC Minibus will pick you up from your Hotel in Sharm and start the journey to St Catharine's National Park
At St. Catherine’s Monastery, you will see the oldest continuously inhabited monastery in Egypt, where you'll see stunning frescoes, a mosque, a church, the burning bush, icons, manuscripts and other treasures. Located high above the Sinai desert this medieval monastery was built during the Byzantine Empire, it has been home to monks since its founding and is still a thriving Christian community today.
Hiking Mount Sinai experience will allow you to explore the highest peaks of Mount Sinai and gaze into the magnificent Eastern Desert, while viewing the best sunrise. During the hike you can opt in for a Camel ride.
After the tour of the Monestery we'll start our journey back to Sharm El Sheikh, where our AC Minibus will drop you off at your Hotel.

The tour is excellent. It’s well organised. The guides are very friendly and make sure everyone gets up Sinai at their own pace. The views were spectacular. Maka is an excellent tour operator.

I have been on two trips with FunN Sun and they were the most horrible trips in my life. The guide who accompanied us up the mountain abused my daughter and I complained to the police. It was the worst experience for us. On another trip to the sea, the dive leaders also tried to abuse my friend by isolating her alone on the boat because she was not feeling fit to dive. When I told the Fun n Sun manager about this, he told me that I should never have complained! That's the last straw. Egyptian law is very strict with this kind of misdeeds. I invite you to file a complaint and above all to boycott this agency.
Hey Naima, We are really sorry that you had an unpleasant experience on your trip. After investigation I have found that you had previously removed your review after being contacted by our operational manager and she explained how the issue was not our fault and issued a full refund. We are not really sure why you re-added the review however let me clarify the situation again. The guide that harassed your daughter is a bedouin guide that is appointed at random by the Egyptian authorities in St. Catharines and this is the regular procedure with all tourists that hike mount moses. With that being said we already took all legal procedures with you and issue a transfer for you to Nuwaiba and back free of charge.
