Full Day South Sea Island with Lunch & Drinks

A relaxing day with beautiful hosts and great weather! I would look into the night trip next time!!!

This activity had it all! One could do as much or as little as one liked. There were beach and water activities. Cultural entertainment. Various group or personal hangouts. A pristine beach. Unlimited food and drink. One could just unwind or engage!

I believe the all inclusive part made it feel cheap. Having done other day trips, the food and service were not typical as you would expect in Fiji. The staff were actually just rude. Snorkeling off the island wasn’t great but there’s a quick tour from the island for free that was worth it.

A very long day, but a great day out overall. The island isn’t very large, so you can walk a round it easily. There are quite a lot of spaces to put your belongings, we found a nice shaded mat with bean bags. This was the perfect nap spot for our 1.5 year old. There was a free guided snorkelling safari x2 in the day, 15 mins duration overall. I’d recommend you do this if you like snorkelling. They don’t guide you as such, it’s more follow the leader. I did snorkel from the beach however it wasn’t the best. Overall, it’s not the most amazing coral reef, but it’s nice. There was also a semi submersible boat you could take for a 15 mins journey. This is great for kids. There is a pool on the island as well as a complimentary bar, a paid bar, free watersports (stand up paddle board, snorkel hire and kayak), market stalls selling jewelry, as well as a paid massage. Lunch was really good, a large variety of salads, meat and fruit. Excellent honestly. There was also a performance during the meal. The only negatives is that the buses we were collected by were very run down, mouldy ceilings and broken seats. Also, there are a range of day trip options, half day, morning only, full day. So when you are on the full day, people are coming and going and it’s a little chaotic. I’d probably try another island if I were to come back to Fiji. However, if I did end back at South Sea, I wouldn’t be sad, it was a great day.

Treated like a VIP! This is a bit of a different review, as I became injured while playing a simple game of Tug-o-War, and needed to be transported back to the mainland for medical attention. These guys at South Sea Islands were amazing and deserve acknowledgment! The care, organisation and professionalism was excellent. On the island many people were with me to make me comfortable and to ensure my needs were met. There was someone at every point of my journey to look after me and my needs, reassuring me the whole time and ensuring a good hand over to the next point of care. The medical centre they organised for me was like a mini hospital where I received quick and efficient care. I spent little time in the waiting room being quickly provided with a bed to rest in. I was given a CT scan soon after seeing the doctor, and the results were returned within a couple of hours. I was able to leave soon after that. Totally impressed from beginning to end…. Although not impressed that I have likely torn a ligament! Food was good as was the Island Entertainment. Reef 🪸 is extremely damaged close to the shore. The weather was not the best so it may have affected our ability to go out to better examples of coral. The windy weather also impacted other water based activities.

Small island but with very friendly personnel that make you feel at home. Food is good with cold drinks!

Overall experience with island and facilities is great. But was not happy with the hidden charges that are been done. 1. On local debit card they are charging 2.5% surcharges fee which is not right 2. There is fuel surcharge that’s not mentioned when doing online booking and only comes into effect when checking in at the counter. So basically each person is charged on that. The hidden cost is not value for money as to what is advertised

We went on a day visit with unlimited drinks and lunch It’s a great way to spend the day. The lunch was wonderful for drinks. You get wine and beer soft drinks and water included all day long. We were picked up around 8:30 am in the morning and we were dropped back about 6:30 pm at night. I found it to be a good value for money. The only thing that I would recommend for people travelling please bring water shoes otherwise you cannot get into the water at most beaches. There are rocks and corals everywhere and you need to have special water shoes.

Snorkeling is amazing, lots to see. Enjoyed the whole experience with my partner. I recommend a whole day experience vs half day, gives you time to relax in between activities.

We bought the whole day pass for 3 adults and 2 kids due the reviews from locals. We paid FJD $950 total and it was a waste of money and time. We left early because we were bored. We couldn't even walk around the entire due to restricted residents area. Food was not good. Not worh the money. Tey Malamala Beach Club or Serenity Island instead.
