Full Day River Kayaking & Cascades from Port Vila

My partner and I had a great time. The kayaking was lovely and the guides were very friendly and great to talk with. We then went to Mele Cascades which was beautiful and nice to swim. Lunch provided was good and our guide drove us to the supermarket on the way back to our hotel.

Honestly, this has been my favourite day in Vanuatu so far. Our guides Barbara and YoYo were incredibly lovely and knowledgeable. We visited on a Saturday and met six other people but this number dropped to two as some opted for the half-day experience. Fresh Vanuatu fruit was delicious and we enjoyed a tasty chicken roll for lunch. On our way home we stopped at the supermarket for water and an ice cream shop. Admission fees were waived at all locations and the cascades were surprisingly quiet with only two other families there on a Saturday. Pricing is a bit steep but the tour was included in our holiday package so we were happy. The atmosphere was amazing and I’d definitely do it again. It’s perfect for families couples or friends looking for a good paddle/float and some rope swinging. I highly recommend it and would love to book another trip.

Such a fun time! Fine for beginners like ourselves who struggle to navigate a kayak at the best of times. Would highly recommend adding the waterfall swim to the kayak tour, this was the highlight. Lovely guides!

Full day Kayak and waterfall tour. Great day out, lovely kayak along the river although slow but this depends on the group participants. Nice fresh fruit snack after kayaking and then on to the waterfall, beautiful spot and lovely cool water, rope swing lots of fun and yummy lunch provided with provision for dietary requirements. Barbara and Tamas were fun and friendly guides and we loved the tour 😊

The river and kayaking was beautiful and a very relaxed pace - serene and nice for holiday vibes. Great talks from the guides and made us all feel very welcome. Waterfalls were beautiful and great swimming area. Highly recommend.

Fabulous and friendly day tour with Vanuatu ecotours. Daniel and Barbara were great guides, sharing their knowledge of local history and culture. The kayak and Cascades locations were beautiful and the boys loved jumping in the river and from the top of the Cascades.

Had an absolutely fantastic day with Ecotours! The kayaking staff were friendly and knowledgeable! The river was absolutely beautiful. Miguel was amazing- we had so fun with him at the Cascades! All the food provided was delicious! Would highly recommend!

Excellent guides. Barbara and ?? , sorry, I forgot his name, were wonderful . Calm and funny, they set such a great vibe. We will be recommending this tour to anybody who will listen.

We had the best day with Eco tours from pick up to drop off. Our tour guides were Yollen and Barbara, they were super friendly and full of great information. The Kayaking itself was nice and easy, we chose single kayaks, glad we did as those in double took a bit to get their rhythm. We kayaked up to the start of the Cascades and back past villagers washing and excited children. When we got back had an abundance of fruit to eat... We then went on a short drive to the Cascades..OMG they were STUNNING. Nice short walk to the waterfall where we went for a swim. Tangkyu tumas eco tours

We were picked up by Barbara and Daniel, lovely easy going people. On the drive to the kayak spot they pointed out buildings and told about the history. There were only 2 other people who came kayaking as well. It was a very scenic place. On the way we saw people doing their laundry and kids swimming. At the end of the kayak trip we had some delicious fruit. We then went to the Cascades, the other couple had left, it was just my husband and me. Lunch was included. We didn't need a lot of time swimming, so we were taken to Port Vila. We got a little lesson in history while driving around town. We stopped at nice places to take photos. It was a great day out
