The hike to Rainbow Mountain is one of the most breathtaking day tours we offer in Cusco.
In this once in a lifetime trek, you’ll be treated to the striking shades of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue that make up the Mountain of 7 colors. Aswell as the snow capped peaks of Vinicunca, you’ll also encounter the local Quechua inhabitants of the mountains, herds of alpacas, and birds of prey like the Andean condor. If your feet will carry you the extra distance, your guide will also accompany you along the trail to the much quieter, Red Valley viewpoint.

Our staff will come to pick you up at 5:00 am to your hotel, we will board a private car, during the trip we will pass through different towns and enjoy the incredible views.
At our arriving to the start point of the trek, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast, Then we will walk uphill for about 1 hour and 30 minutes until you reach the Rainbow mountain. When you reach the top of the mountain you will be able to enjoy stunning views.
All the mountains surrounding this area are red and there are stunning views of the valleys and mysterious mountain of 7 colors, where we will have enough time to be able to take photos and videos.
After the great experience we will undertake the return trek for another 1 hour and 30 minutes, then enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch we will return to Cusco and arrive to the city around 4:00 PM, so we finished the tour to the mountain of 7 colors with the transfer to your hotel.

Excellent and reliable
Everything excellent! We had an incredible experience on our trip through Peru. We did the tour of Machu Picchu, Cusco, Lima, and the 7-Color Mountain, and everything was super well organized from beginning to end.
The transfers, tours, schedules, and service were excellent. Everything was very well coordinated and we always felt accompanied and safe. Machu Picchu was spectacular and the 7-Color Mountain was also an incredible experience.
I want to especially highlight the service and organization throughout the trip. We definitely recommend this tour for those who want to see Peru without having to worry about organizing every detail. 🇵🇪✨

Highly recommend going to rainbow mountain
It was a long travel day, but well worth it once you get to the top of rainbow mountain. The views during the last hour of the drive are also amazing.

Great experience, georgeous mountains!
Our 7 Color Mountain tour with Machu Picchu Viajes Peru was one of the highlights of our trip! We had an early start with a 4:30 AM pick-up, right on time. Both breakfast and lunch were included, and honestly, we were pleasantly surprised — the meals were healthy, tasty, and there was plenty of food to keep us going.
The hike was definitely worth it, with stunning views. Our guide, was kind, patient, and encouraging, helping us along and taking great photos. Great experience overall — highly recommend!

Fantastic tour guide Alex
Did this tour with my teen son and daughter . Early morning wake up but is so worth it. Our guide was Alex , very knowledgeable , attentive to everyone in the group being a larger group. He actually checked on everyone on the whole trail . Not sure how he did it but he was always around . We spoke only English and he was able to translate . Had oxygen If you needed. I suffered from altitude sickness and he checked to make sure I was ok. Overall I will highly reccomed this company

An unforgettable journey.
My trip to Seven Colors Mountain was amazing and awesome. Part by four-wheeler and part walking in both enjoyed the beautiful landscapes. On the other hand, Domingo, our guide, made the experience enriching with his knowledge and attention. Allen, our driver, ensured a safe and comfortable transfer. Their professionalism and dedication made the tour unforgettable. Highly recommended! My wife and I will surely be back, so much to see. We had a great time. Machu Picchu trips Peru are the most.

Great day at Rainbow Mountain!
Highly recommend! The views are stunning and you get the option to hike, ride a horse or motorbike depending on how you're feeling about getting to the top. Alex, our guide, was on time, thorough and friendly!!
