The Urubamba river runs from the high Andean mountain range down through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, past Machu Picchu and further down into the jungle. The Urubamba is divided into upper Urubamba and lower Urubamba, the dividing feature is the Pongo de Mainique, a whitewater canyon that opens into the Amazon plain.

A great Adrenaline filled excursion. Going down the river with an amazing view and the rapids were awesome. After finishing rafting, they had a sauna ready for us to warm up and relax. The lunch was excellent as well. Highly recommend
We have a wonderful time rafting with our guide he fun and river view so beautiful! And lunch , sauna, hot shower every thing is perfect!
