Your first stop will be the City Palace Complex in Jaipur. This royal residence and former administrative headquarters of the Jaipur State was established shortly after the city of Jaipur was founded. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court from Amber to Jaipur in 1727, oversaw the construction of the palace.

A stunning blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, the palace is made of red and pink sandstone, making it one of Jaipur’s most recognized landmarks.
