On the tour to Pallay Punchu, passengers will enjoy an impressive hike to one of the most colorful and least crowded mountains in Cusco, known as the “filuda mountain” for its peaks in the shape of a point. Pallay Punchu was amazing. There were several different viewpoints along the trail, and while the elevation made it more difficult, the climbing distance was minimal - about 730 feet of elevation gain. The colors of the cliffs were everything we expected, and there were nice views of the lake and other mountains. The tour stopped at a buffet for both breakfast and lunch. We have nut and fish allergies in our party and the food was safe for them. Our guide Americo was awesome - patient and helpful. The time in the van is quite long - about 4 hours each way, and the legroom was not great.
