Description

This private tour is the best way to explore the hiden places around Sacsayhuaman archeological park, this impresive place is located 15 min  away from Cusco city.  All the regular tours takes just a few minutes to visit only the big walls, but you need almost 3 to 4 hours to visit this archeologycal park on a good way, there are lots of hiden places that the tourists don't go on a regular way, for example the "Devil's Balcony" (Caves made by the incas), the "Temple of The Moon" an ancient inca temple used for rituals for fertility, the "Inca Face" a natural shape on the nature that was considered sacred by the incas.  If you love to explore and learn on a curious way about the incas, this is the best option for you! .

Unforgettable Day in the Andes

Absolutely breathtaking day exploring the countryside of the Andes on horses. Holger and his family were wonderful and getting to have a home cooked meal from his mom looking over the sacred valley is something I’ll never forget. Manulo & Pinto were the most sure footed and trusty steeds we could have asked for. Was very impressed by how well behaved the horses were through the rocky terrain, not to mention how well cared for they were too. Pro tip: bring some carrots for the horses for after your ride!

Great, for experienced as well as inexperienced

We are a family of an experienced adult, an experienced child, an inexperienced child and an inexperienced adult (myself). In summary: We all had fun! The experienced riders got adequate horses and the guide gave them the liberty to advance at their pace, return, run, whatever. That would never happen in Europe! And I myself was happy with a lazy horse which just followed the known path at a human’s walking pace. Almost no need for me to give signals to the horse, no need to be scared of the horse breaking out, etc. The landscape is stunning, the ruins you visit are not very spectacular but worth a short stop and a few pictures. The tour in the end lasted 3+ hours (from Cuzco to Cuzco, going up by car, walking back down), which was more than the 2 hours we paid for. Very happy!

Highlight of My Time in Cusco

Everything about the experience was fantastic, from the prompt pick-up time to the tour of the ruins and mountains to the beautiful horses at the ranch. The family who runs the ranch is extremely kind and knowledgeable of the area and will do everything to make sure that your experience is the best that it can be. Many of the locations that were stops on the tour are inaccessible by car and a difficult trek by foot, so horseback is definitely the way to go. Cantering through the Andes is an experience that I'll never forget!
