Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour

Description
The peninsula falls within the Table Mountain National Park which is world-renowned for its incredible biodiversity. The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve spreads out over the rocky headland. It’s a protected nature reserve and home to an array of antelope, the rare Cape mountain zebra and other unique animal species. It’s also a haven for marine birds, with 250 recorded bird species found in the reserve. Cape Point is the very pointy end of the Cape Peninsula. It’s an instantly-recognised landmark and is often mistaken to be the southernmost tip of Africa. There are two national heritage monuments on Cape Point that were built to honour the world’s most famous explorers: Vasco da Gama and Bartolomeu Dias (who was the first European explorer to round Cape Point in 1488).

Itinerary
We make our way to the fishing village of Hout Bay, over the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive and into the quaint coastal town of Noordhoek. The scenic peninsula drive takes us to the magnificent Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. In Hout Bay, you have the option of taking a boat cruise to Seal Island (not included in the rate) or strolling around the popular mariner wharf and harbour where you’ll make friends with the friendly seals that pop up for a pat. At the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, we visit the famous Cape Point Lighthouse. You have the option of a short but slightly steep walk on a well-worn path to the lighthouse or you can take the funicular railway to the top. The view is spectacular, and you may see whales and dolphins in the bay.
We end the morning in Simons Town which is a legendary naval town overlooking False Bay. You have the option of visiting the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach (entrance fee excluded in the rate) or spending time strolling down the historic main street of Simons Town and popping into its quaint shops and museums. We have a bite to eat and drinks (for your own account) at the Simons Town Mariner Wharf.
After lunch, we head back towards Cape Town and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens travelling along the False Bay coastal route. We pass through the seaside towns of Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, St James and Muizenberg. The streets are lined with quirky bookstores, vintage clothing shops, surf shops and a collection of popular seaside restaurants and delis. We stop along the way to wander the streets, do a bit of shopping, watch the surfers in Muizenberg, whale watching if its whale season and to take photographs of the famous colorful Victoria-era beach huts.

We had a wonderful day on the Mo Afrika Full-Day Cape Peninsula Tour, and we were truly blessed to have Alfred as our guide. From the moment the tour started, his friendly personality, professionalism, and extensive knowledge made the experience even more memorable. Alfred shared fascinating insights about Cape Town and the attractions we visited, making every stop meaningful and enjoyable. The places included in the tour were absolutely awesome — from seeing the adorable penguins at Boulders Beach, to the breathtaking views at Seal Island, the iconic Cape of Good Hope, and the stunning lighthouse at Cape Point. What made the day even more special was Alfred himself. He was engaging, caring, and passionate about what he does. By the end of the tour, we felt like we had made a new friend, and as we talked after the trip, we realized we already missed him! Thank you, Alfred and Mo Afrika Tours, for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town.

We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable South African adventure soon! The MoAfrika Tours Team
The tour was not what we expected. We didn’t do many of the stops that’s were planned on the itinerary which was a little bit disappointing. Our guide was okay although he seemed agitated and threatened to leave some of the clients if they were even a couple of minutes late to the meeting spots. Overall the tour was not what was advertised.
Amazing breathtaking tour, I was by myself with a very qualified and nice guide, Sentle, who drove and took me to the most beautiful places.
Great tour to get a quick taste of the beaches, peninsular and back into the city. Really not enough hours in the day to see and experience what this beautiful place has to share with us.
Abdoul was excellent. His knowledge about history was outstanding. Besides that, he is familiar with all local persons and locations. GREAT experiance !
A full day of wonder up to the legendary Cape of Good Hope with Franck our super driver and fantastic landscapes . I do recommend+++
Superb experience, a very nice day, rewarding. Thanks to Jimmy for the explanations. I highly recommend it.
Super Home, very smiling and really "friendly", the driving of the vehicle was professional. We had a great time!!! It was very pleasant because the explanations of the circuit were very precise. Jimmy was great! To be done again as soon as possible. Hubert-
A tremendous day with MoAfrika tours and my guide for the day, Sentle. Early start to beach then a wee cruise to Seal Island then to Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, a delicious lunch at Saveur and the best part of the day for me at Boulder Beach penguins. Guide Sentle was accommodating, friendly and knowledgable and whilst a long day, it was superb. Highly recommend this tour to everyone, stunning scenery and wildlife.
Fantastic tour of the Cape peninsula with Jimmy via MoAfrica Tours. Jimmy was very informative and interesting and we can’t recommend him highly enough.
