Full-Day Buggy Driving and Waterfall Swimming Experience

We took the open air military / monster truck adventure. The scenery was great. We went to see a home, a school, and had lunch. I’d recommend it, unless you have neck or back issues because it’s a rough ride. If you don’t have a bad back, you might by the time the tour is over. The reason for the 4-stars is that it was difficult to understand Alex, our guide. He shared what I’m sure were interesting stories and facts - but we got parts of what he was saying. Other than that, it was different and we could handle the hard jolts of the ride (sit as far forward as possible). So if you’re looking for something different, give it a go!

We had a wonderful experience with our guide Eduardo and driver David. The tour was interesting & informative. Eduardo was so knowledgeable and friendly. We loved our tour of the school and house in the mountain community and our lunch was delicious. The road was bumpy & the truck ride was windy, but we loved it & would recommend it to anyone who would like to experience real life in the Dominican Republic.

Eduardo was awesome! Very knowledgeable and answered lots of questions. Santiago our driver navigated the country and city like a pro.

We took the Mega Truck tour whilst docked here on a cruise. Booked as an excursion through cruise line. Alex was an excellent tour guide, full of local knowledge about every subject from the economy to eco system. Also a very friendly and helpful personality. The driver, Santiago, was also excellent and helpful. The drive does, as they warn, get very bumpy at times so is not for everyone. The visit with a local family and the drive through the countryside were the highlights. The lunch and tour back at the ranch were great. Highly recommended.

We booked this tour while on the boat. It was well worth it. We got to drive through the countryside and visit a school. The kids were so excited and friendly. They gave us all hugs. Eduardo and Daniel were fantastic tour guides and very friendly. We also got lunch and got to hold a bird. I just wished I would have known that you could bring school supplies, toys and candy for the kids at the school. Would love to do this again.

Good time worth the trip would not recommend to people who are not agile there is some hiking and some obstacles you have to overcome but not too overwhelming

Edwardo was the guide and Louis the driver. One of the best tours I have ever been on. What a fun tour. I would advise anyone to join this tour with Edwardo.

We had the most amazing time on the megatruck excursion. Eduardo and Wilmore were aeesome!! The children at the school were so fantastic. We gave them school supplies and treats, which they were so grateful for. You gotta do this excursion if you have a chance. And be sure to take goodies fir the children. 👍👍👍👍

We took the Mega Truck adventure into the countryside to experience the local culture, and it was the highlight of my cruise! It was fascinating to get a glimpse into the daily lives of the local people, making the experience both eye-opening and memorable. We also stopped for a delicious meal, which added to the authenticity of the journey. Alex and Daniel were truly amazing guides, making the excursion even more enjoyable. If you’re in Amber Cove, this is an absolute must-do!

We rode the Mega truck from the Carnival cruise pier around town and into the country. Beautiful!! We are lunch at their jungle compound. We'll go again! Our driver Luis and guide Eduardo were great!!
