Get to know the locations where Game of Thrones was filmed in Peñíscola, you'll learn all about this TV series in Peñíscola. We will visit the town of Peñíscola from Valencia, it is one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, it is on the coast and its old town is walled. You will learn about the history of the town and its most emblematic buildings. The old town is similar to Santorini in Greece. You will have an official guide with a guide's license who will guide you throughout the tour of Peñíscola. You will also visit the famous castle of Pope Luna where Pope Luna (Benedict XIII) took refuge, it is one of the best preserved castles in Spain and it is also the last castle built by the Templars, you will learn about the history of the Templars and Pope Luna. With an official and accredited guide who shows and tells you about the old town, the GOT and the castle, other tours do not have an accredited guide and neither show you nor tell you anything about Peñíscola. Itinerary
The transportation from Valencia to Peñíscola is 1:30 hours.
We will visit the old town of Peñíscola where I will tell you its history. You will also see the places where Game of Thrones was filmed. You will be able to walk through its streets and take beautiful photos as well as see some important buildings.
We will stop to eat at a restaurant.
We will see the castle inside. With texts you will know the entire castle. Each room in the Castle comes with texts in Spanish and English where they explain what each room was, in the castle you read the signs and watch videos.
You have one hour of free time to visit the castle garden, go shopping, take a walk through the old town or go to the beach.
When we finish we will return to Valencia in which it takes 1:30 hours to reach the same meeting point.

The tour itself to the peninsula of Peníscola was very interesting and beautiful. The town and the castle were pretty and vibrant. There were very large crowds and the time of year we chose to go were the wrong time. It was extremely hot. Our guide on the other hand had issues with Americans. He was condescending, arrogant and rude. Couldn't wait till the tour was over to get away from this guy. Anyway, wish it could have been better overall.

10/10 Peñíscola Tour ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 experience in Peñíscola, España! 🇪🇸☀️ This tour was absolutely amazing! Our guides went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, especially in the August 13th heat. They kept us hydrated with plenty of ice-cold water, made sure we had lots of bathroom breaks, and gave us plenty of opportunities to cool off in the AC. We got to explore the beautiful Peñíscola Castle and see some of the incredible locations where Game of Thrones was filmed! 🏰🐉 We also had free time to explore on our own, which was the perfect addition to the tour. The guides were knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I highly recommend this tour, especially to all my Game of Thrones fans! 🐉❤️ If you’re visiting Spain, Peñíscola is definitely worth adding to your itinerary! 🇪🇸✨

My excursion to Castillo de Peñíscola was one of the highlights of my trip to Valencia! The tour guides were absolutely fantastic, and our driver (Danny) was friendly, professional, and made the whole trip enjoyable. They took so many photos of me and everyone in the group, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience without worrying about capturing every moment ourselves. Traveling in mini vans instead of a large tour bus made the excursion feel much more personal and intimate. It was a great way to explore without feeling like part of a huge crowd. As a solo traveler it can be intimidating but the guides made me feel safe, checked-in on me, and made sure I never lost the group. Peñíscola Castle is absolutely beautiful and well worth visiting. I also met some wonderful people on this tour, which made the day even more memorable. Everyone involved was fun, kind, respectful, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. Even if you are not a "Games of Thrones" fan, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Valencia!

The tour was excellent. The driving was not that long and the guide made it very entertaining. The tour guide has a lot oh knowledge in the subject and was very friendly. My 13 year old grandson love it too. Besides being a film location tour, the enclosed city is beautifull,
