On the way to the mountains, we will make a stop for a photo opportunity at the Jinvali lake, which is used as a water reservoir. When the sun shines, the water shows an amazing color blue.

We cannot skip Ananuri Castle on your way to the town of Kazbegi. This complex on the Aragvi River is one of the best-protected fortresses in Georgia.

Weather — Mountain conditions change fast. Tbilisi might be 30°C while Gudauri and Truso are cold and windy. Layers and a windproof jacket are essential every month. In June and October bring something genuinely warm.
Facilities — Truso Valley has no toilets, cafes or shops. Use facilities before entering the gorge. Bring water and snacks.
Roads — The Truso dirt track is rough. If you're prone to motion sickness bring your own medication.

Our guide Saba did an excellent job! He knew something about everything without overwhelming us with info.
Although we first had to get used to the Georgian style, we can also only praise our driver. He maneuvered the 4x4 through traffic and drove us safely to our destination.

Great private Caucasus Tour
We had a great day with our guide Giorgi and driver Mikhail exploring the Caucasus from Tbilisi. Giorgi was very knowledgable and guided us through all the sites. The off-road drive to Truso Valley and the hike in the beautiful mountains were really a unique experience. Day trip
This was a great trip. It was very well organised and our guide Salome and the driver were excellent. The vehicle was very comfortable and I think the fact that it’s a short group of 6 people makes it feel special. There are several stops along the way and you get to see lot. I left a coat in the vehicle and they arranged it for me to collect in Tbilisi the next day. Wonderful people.

She's very friendly, attentive and passionate. Oksana talked interestingly about the history, culture and traditions of Georgia, answered all questions and created a very pleasant atmosphere throughout the day. Thanks to her, the trip was not only beautiful, but also truly soulful.
Truso Gorge is a place of incredible beauty that is definitely worth seeing. Mountain scenery, mineral springs, spacious valleys and a sense of complete silence left an unforgettable experience. Kazbegi also impressed with its majestic views, and the SUV trip made the journey even more interesting and memorable.

Best trip to Kazbegi and Truso Valley
That was exceptional trip! Koba as a tour guide did very good job and took care for all of us. Also his timing for the stops and next places to visit was excellent (we haven't got into the queue/traffic). In addition, the driver Wabko (as I wrote it properly) was good and he knows how to drive off roads and how to behave on the road, so we feel very safe during entire trip. The hoke in Truso Vally was super cool! Great atmosphere and Koba told us a lot of stories/history of Georgia. I'd do it one more time!

Extraordinary tour!
This was an extraordinary trip — in every sense.
The route and timings were well thought out, with great attention to detail, stunning scenery, and fascinating stories.
In particular, our guide Koba was phenomenal — both for his kindness and his erudition.
In addition, he showed great flexibility toward the group’s requests.
The fact that the group was limited to six people was also a big advantage.
