Monte Brasil
We visit Monte Brasil, a volcano which was formed from underwater
We will drive by Baía da Salga, where the locals fought the spanish preventing them to invade the island in 1581
Imperio do Espirito Santo de Sao Sebastiao
Here, we will stop for visiting the church, which is one of the oldest, as well as the Império of the Holy Spirit, one of the fulcral elements of our culture
Serra do Cume Viewpoint
We will drive to the top of Serra do Cume, one of the last ridges of vulcão dos cinco picos, also the biggest caldeira of the Azores
Praia da Vitoria
We will drive to Praia da Vitória, the secondary city of our island, where we will go to the top of Serra do Facho to overlook the city and its bay
Biscoitos
We will drive to Biscoitos, a village located on the north coast, where to this day we still plant vineyards. Here, we will also visit the natural swimming pools
Algar do Carvao
Here you will have the opportunity to visit one of the most unique volcanic formations in the world! This is optional, according to schedule on Montanheiro's website

Very beatiful trip
We were four colleagues and we really enjoyed the trip, visited impressive places, we drove around the island in one day with the local guide.

What a great day !
One of the best we have ever had. Friendly a very knowledgeable. I have read books on the Azores and he was right on with them plus had additional information to share. Really enjoyed the day and guid was never in a hurry with us. From 9;30 am till 6 :30pm nonstop. We requested to cut out the last stop in order to meet our dinner reservation. What a great day!!!!

Terceria full day tour.
Our driver was wonderful, she knew the island well and went out of her way to make sure we had a great day. Finished the day with a surprise trip tothe cheese factory.

Wonderful tour experience
We had an absolutely amazing time with Sofia! She explained so much about the history nd culture of the island, in addition to showing us all the great sites. The only reason I am taking a star off is because we were told by the company that Sofia would be 15 minutes late when she was 45 minutes late. Sofia more than made it up to us but communication from the company itself should have been better.

Fantastic and efficient way to see the island.
We booked this tour to make the most of our time—covering lots of ground and history in just six hours. Our crew? Eight slightly jet-lagged humans, including six teenagers. Despite our sleepy start, the experience was anything but dull! The booking process was smooth, and the agent helped us create a custom itinerary that included a delicious lunch stop. Our guide, Rui (or Roy), greeted us with a warm smile and excellent English. His knowledge of Terceira’s history, geology, ecology, and culture added so much depth to the day. Rui gave us the freedom to shape the experience while also offering helpful tips and route suggestions to keep things running smoothly. The van was clean, comfy, and perfect for our group. From dramatic weather shifts to spontaneous photo ops and lots of laughter, the day was filled with memorable moments. We highly recommend this tour to any group looking to explore and truly connect with the beauty and charm of Terceira.

A nightlight of our trip! Paulo was an amazing guide!
Our guide, Paulo was excellent, kind, knowledgeable and wonderful with our two small children (5 & 9). He took us so many places and really catered the day for our family.
