Tour guide was very friendly and extremely helpful, helpng if we needed anything. Driver was great, navigating narrow streets and a coach malfunction on a hill,he did amazing.
I had a very good experience. Charlotte is an amazing guide. Good half day trip. Amazing waterfalls to be in this heat.
Top activity, well organized
We had a lovely afternoon overall but the waterfalls were really busy so we didn’t really spend a lot of time in there. Will the tour guide with Jet2 was 10/10 and gave us lots of useful information. Would be great to visit at a quieter time though.
A wonderful day out to the beautiful Font d’Algar, thoroughly enjoyed by the both of us. An already fantastic day out was only further improved by our expert guide Brill Will, who was clearly a seasoned pro who truly enjoyed his job
The waterfalls and pools were very busy , but we were able to wade through and enjoy the cool water on a very hot day . The experience was unfortunately completely spoiled for our family by one of the Tour Guides which was a shame. Before getting onto the coach for the return journey , I checked with the Tour Guide that it was the correct bus (after showing him the wrist band) and was assured it was . My children and I boarded . A head count followed and then several awkward minutes where it was announced that there were “3 imposters on the bus” Having been made aware that it was us , -we disembarked- But not before being jeered by the other passengers and offered absolutely no apologies or explanation from the Tour Guide . Not content with embarrassing us during that situation, shortly afterwards when we boarded the correct coach , he had clearly delighted in texting his colleague who announced over the loud speaker that there had been “3 stowaways “ on the other coach . And wondered “who they were” My children and I felt very embarrassed that a simple mistake (not our doing ) was used as public humiliation. Absolutely will not be using this company again . Please find alternative companies to do the trip !
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the waterfalls, despite them being busy and and very sorry to learn that, what was to be lighthearted and harmless comment regarding being on the wrong bus, to be embarrasing and awkward. We give all of our passengers a writsband, so that we know who is part of our group and those at the waterfalls know too. We can have upwards of 250 people at the falls at any one time. The wristband does not determine which bus you are on and clearly for safety reasons, we have to ensure that the correct people are on the correct coach, to match the mandate that the guide and driver has. As we usually have multiple buses at the falls, this can cause some confusion, with people being on the wrong bus. Obviously we cannot move unless our numbers are correct and it would appear on this occasion that after asking if people were on the correct bus, doing a head count and then going through the names, it was identified that you were on the wrong bus and the guide did, with a lighthearted and funny intention announce that there had been stowaways on board, hence the delay before being able to make way. I would like to apologise for any embarrasment or hard feelings. We will ensure, moving forward that we take every effort not to offend people in these situations.
Very nice and an erv friendly guide who prepared everything and everyone very well. He also prepared for the market value of things you were going to buy. Tip: it is very slippery, so bring sea or water shoes.
Good value for money half day trip to the beautiful waterfalls. Our guide Steve was very friendly and had good banter telling us about the areas we were passing by on the way up to the falls. Very comfortable air conditioned coach for the journey. The waterfalls were amazing and a great trip to get away from the Benidorm madness. The falls are pretty busy too as its a big attraction for us tourists and the resident Spanish folks. But a great way to spend a few hours in different scenery. Extremely hot but the weather right now in Benidorm is extremely hot anyway. This is a great half day tour, picked up at 1.30pm then dropped back off about 6.45pm. Would reccomend this company. Many thanks.
Steve was a great tour guide, gave a really great lunch recommendation. The entrance to the falls was smooth with the tour wristbands and it was beautiful. I would say you definitely need wetsuit boots if you want to go in the waterfall as it is very rocky.
Highly recommend the Algar Waterfalls Coach trip! We went today and walked 15 minutes from our hotel to the Gran Hotel Bali meeting point. We booked through GetYourGuide so there were only 4 meeting points, but were advised by our helpful coach that booking directly through Round Town Travel means there’s usually more pick up points to choose from, so I’d recommend looking at that. Our guide, Stuart, was very informative on the journey to the waterfalls, letting us know different facts. Stuart was clear on when and where we should meet up again and our driver, Gregory, did a great job too. Thank you so much!
