Freddie Mercury and Queen. The London tour

Description
Described as a Queen expert by clients. I will lead you on a fascinating journey around Queen's Kensington. We hear of Dr Sir Brian May's time at Imperial College. We move on to Beit Quadrangle where Queen performed their first London gig in 1970. We will then pass the Royal Albert Hall where Freddie was star of the show at Fashion Aid. We will see the site of Kensington Market. Where Freddie and Roger had a stall. And where Freddie once measured David Bowies feet! We move on to the location of BIBA clothes shop, where Mary worked and was regularly visited by a love-struck Freddie. We will see the apartment where Freddie and Mary first lived together. We will see a number of other addresses associated with Queen. I will tell you the story of Queen at Live Aid. We will move on to Garden Lodge, Freddie’s country home in London where we will hear stories of Freddie’s life and tragic untimely death. My tours are up to a maximum of 16 people with new content added every week.

Lovely tour and a wonderful guide! Also a good way to see more of London. Would recommend to all Queen fans.
Grant really knows Queen history. The tour takes you to the groups’ haunts in London and gives a deep evolution of the band including some of the lesser known early members. As a casual fan it was really interesting information. There’s a fair amount of walking to get from site to site and it’s helpful to have seen the movie Bohemian Rhapsody to see how the director took some artistic license. Grant shared many photos of the players in the actual sites visited. Well - paced and enjoyable. Definitely worthwhile.
I really appreciate your kind review and I am so pleased you enjoyed the detail of our tour.
An interesting and useful visit; in London, it is not possible to find this type of information about Queen and Freddie Mercury on your own. Grant is an attentive and passionate guide.
Thank you so much for your kind review. I am delighted you enjoyed our tour and it is always nice to meet passionate Queen fans.
Grant's enthusiasm & knowledge was unbelievable. This was one of the best walking tours I have been on. If you like Queen, it's a MUST.
I am so grateful for your kind words. I am delighted I could take you on the tour and hope to may be see you again on another tour!
The tour was interesting and entertaining. We heard many new facts and anecdotes, and we enjoyed it.
Thank you for your kind review. I am very pleased you enjoyed it and new facts about Freddie Mercury and Queen.
This is a great tour. We were able to see quite a bit of Queen history. Our issue is although we were a group of 7, between the traffic noise and not being next to Grant - we couldn't hear what he was saying. Headsets are a must.
Thank you for your review and I appreciate your comments. I am sorry you did not hear me properly, as I would have positioned my self closer to you. But I am glad, overall, you enjoyed the tour and as a huge Queen fan, learned some new stories about the band.
Excellent, very informative, learnt a lot about the history behind Queen, be prepared for a lot of walking!
Thank you for your kind review Kim. It was great to meet you both! And always good to have someone on my tour who saw Queen in Hyde Park in 1976!
Very interesting tour. Thank you very much Grant!
Thank you so much for your review. I am really pleased you enjoyed the tour
Learned so much about Queen which has been one of our family favorites. I would allow a little more time for pictures and be aware that there are no bathrooms available for almost 3 hours.
Thank you for kind review. I am so pleased you enjoyed the tour. I hope you can join me on another tour when next visiting London!
Fantastic experience! Definitely quite a bit of walking. Tour operator was friendly and brought us to major sites that were important in Queen and Freddie’s life. He had an iPad with pictures and videos to help him explain certain topics. Very cool and glad I came on this tour!
I really appreciate your kind review! I am so happy you enjoyed the tour and hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in London.
