Description
This tour is a treat for all senses. First and foremost, we'll try some of the delicious treats only available at Pike Place Market! We will also learn about the history of the Market and view much of the incredible art on display. We'll also take the time to be serenaded by one of the many street performers. Walking through the fascinating labyrinth of the Pike Place is a special treat. Take in breath taking views of Elliot Bay and the surrounding mountains (weather permitting!) and enjoy special attention from your guide due to small group sizes. Wander Northwest Walking Tours is permitted and licensed by the Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority (PDA) to operate tours in the Pike Place Market Historical District. The PDA requires any business or person conducting paid tours within its properties and in the public areas of the historical district to be pre-approved and to have a license for this activity.

Wonderful Pikes Place Tour

Excellent Tour
We had a great time with our tour guide, James. He was very knowledgeable and took us to many great stops. The overall tour took 2.5 hours. James was very knowledgable of the towns history, specifically Pikes Place. We ended up going back to three of the food locations immediately following the tour just to get more food. I would have no problem telling friends to do this same tour of they were to visit Seattle great value and experience. Even our two teenage kids would do it again. Thank you, James!

Worth it!
I enjoyed the tour. I was lucky to have James to myself - he shared a lot of interesting info about the history of Seattle, the Waterfront and the market. Food was tasty - especially the Greek gelato.

James was wonderful… Telling us the history and the amazing food he chose for us to try. We have been to Pikes before but we didn’t cover 1/2 of it. James showed us places in Pikes Market that were hidden but public accessible.

A fun glimpse into the market!
If you are on the fence, I say go for it! James was our guide, and he was fantastic! I learned a bunch of stuff, sampled some great foods, and really just felt like I got to see and learn things I never would have had I not taken the tour with James (and my auntie!). Each of the vendors we visited were also wonderful and you could feel the "community" vibes all around. Definitely worth doing, I highly recommend!

Best Walking Tour
This is the best walking tour I have gone on. James is knowledgeable and very passionate about the city. The food was delicious and it was enjoyable to sit in the different areas to experience the tastes, people and ambiance. I highly recommend!
