Do not buy
DO NOT PURCHASE. You can enter the Palazzo for a third of the price when buying from the official ticket office. The audio guide provided is simply that available on the Palazzo website. Only consider this experience if all tickets are otherwise unavailable or if you are visiting in peak season and want to skip the line.

Palazzo Vecchio visit - Palazzo is great but skip the line ticket isn't worth it.
Not sure this was worth buying. The skip the line ticket was unessesary as there was no real line to skip in September, may be diffrent in say August. The audio guide was a download on the phone and difficult to follow as it wasn't easy to work out what room we were in.
This cost us significantly more than had we just turned up and bought a ticket and the museums audio guide (may have been the same guide not sure). I wouldn't buy in advance and simply turn up and take a chance.
The Palazzo Vecchio is however well worth a visit, give yourself plenty of time as there is som much to see.

This company is a SCAM
The tour company ins instructed us to be at the site at 10:20 AM. At 10:40 AM no one had arrived. We called the number provided for the tour company and it wasn’t a working number. Since we were unable to contact anyone., we had to buy our own tickets for entry. Finally at 11 AM, once we were already inside, I received a text from the tour operator who said he had our tickets. I told him we had already gone inside. He insisted that we come outside to collect our tickets, even though he was 40 minutes late. Then Viator refused to give us a refund because the tour operator didn’t want to issue it. Do not buy tickets from this company. They are a scam.

No headsets provided for...
No headsets provided for an audio guide (we didn’t see that it’s written on the very last line of the reservation, under “more details”), the website malfunctioned most of the time -
even while connected to suggested WiFi. Pretty much just overpaid for each ticket. Do not recommend this.

I like most Viator trips....
I like most Viator trips. However, I did not think this one was worth the money. It was confusing using the audio while walking through the museum alone. I wasn’t sure which audio clip to use when. Considering I paid a good bit more than the normal ticket price, I did not feel it was worth the money.
Operator response
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you found the experience confusing.
We understand the difficulty you faced with using the audio guide. Our host remains at the meeting point to assist with any issues before your visit, and if you're already inside the museum, you can also contact us via WhatsApp or by phone for immediate assistance. In some areas inside the museum, the internet connection can be unstable, but you can connect to the free Firenze WiFi network to help access the audio guide more reliably.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve the experience for future visitors.

NO help for Audio malfunctions
You are handed an audio guide, the Viator guide clicks the ON button, you acknowledge that the audio is working, then the Viator guide departs. Immediately after his departure, my audio stopped functioning! Only heard 2minutes of the Introduction!
Operator response
Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with the audio guide.
Our host was present at the meeting point to assist all guests with the audio devices and ensured that the guide was functioning correctly before departure. As you confirmed that the audio was working at the time of handover, it appears that the issue occurred afterward.
For situations like this, we provide a contact number in the booking information so that guests can immediately reach our support team. Had we been informed of the problem during your visit, we would have done our best to assist and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
We regret that this inconvenience affected your experience and appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

It was my first time using Viatour. I was able to pick between options for the desired museum easily, and pickup on the day at the museum went well.

Great Experience
We were met by the team member to supply our tickets on time and in the place stated.
We were able to walk straight in and look around at our own pace. Great visit.

Don’t do it!
This is the only tour ever that we did not like. I recommend having a tour guide rather than the earphones. There is no signage telling you where to go next and the names of rooms on the tour don’t match the names on the signs in the rooms. The palace is beautiful but the tour is impossible to follow.
Operator response
We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. We understand that navigating the palace with the audio guide may have been confusing at times.
We would also like to clarify that this activity is described as a self-guided visit and not a guided tour. The service provided includes the entrance tickets so visitors can explore the palace independently at their own pace.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we appreciate your comments regarding the audio guide and signage.
