Our tour guide was Eriza and she was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions. And since we had skip-the-line tickets we did not have to wait in long lines to get in to see the Statue of David or the Uffizi Gallery. Highly recommended!
Brenda was amazing! Great guide with massive knowledge of both art history and Florence. Had a nice hour break for lunch. Make sure to bring water if you go in the summer
A great way to get a snapshot of the main things to see in Florence. Valentina was knowledgeable & kept us on our toes, asking us what we knew of what we saw. We didn’t go to the leather market or see il porchellino, but happy with what we did see.
Annette was an excellent narrator for a journey through the renaissance. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the subject matter, as would be expected, but she definitely exceeded expectations. Her clear descriptions were insightful and very enlightening. Her engaging demeanor held the group’s attention throughout the tour. I would highly recommend this tour with Annette to anyone visiting Florence.
Overall tour was a great way to see important sites and learn about the history of the art and city. We learned a lot. Our tour guide Valentina was very knowledgeable and engaging, I appreciated that she asked us questions to help us think and learn about the art we were seeing. It would have been helpful if she had a flag or something to see where she was going walking. She often walked quickly without verbal cues about which direction she was going so it was a little hard to keep up at times.
My wife and I went on this tour and found it was a nice way to explore and see the main highlights of Florence. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the audio quality of the headsets. With all the background noise and the relatively poor audio quality of the microphone, I found I needed to stand close to the tour guide.
Stefano was our guide and he provided a great tour of the city. When confronted with one of the best art museums in the world and 80 possible rooms to visit, that could take weeks to complete, Stefano focused attention on the most significant artists and what makes the paintings and sculptures so great. It was the history of Florence art and architecture in a four hour cliff notes.
Very informative and enjoyable trip! We got to see the highlights of both the Uffizi and Accademia, skipping long lines to both, and had a very knowledgeable guide who told us everything we wanted to know and more. This experience was perfect for us as we didn’t want to spend hours walking through museums - it focused on the highlights without combing through every peice of art in every room. Our guide was wonderful - she was super engaging, knowledgeable, fun, and helpful.
It was great to skip the lines - particularly at the Accademia Gallery. Our tour guide was very informative. There was a fair amount of walking as would be expected.
A wonderful summary of Florence and art history. Our guide (Valentina) had a great grasp of Florence history, a great sense of humor, and I learned a great deal from this tour. Highly recommended.
