More than a Cooking Class
Absolutely cannot recommend this cooking class enough! One of the highlights of our trip. Our cooking class ended up just being my partner and I with Fatima and her grandmother - who were incredibly warm and friendly. It was more than a cooking class - we spoke with Fatima at length about life and it was such a meaningful experience to connect beyond the superficial on the other side of the globe. Oh, and the rooftop view where you cook is one of the best in Fes and the meal was hands down our favorite of our time in Morocco! Book this ASAP and don't regret missing it.

Best experience in Fes!! Don’t miss this!
This is a highlight of our trip. We enjoyed the whole experience from shopping for the ingredients all super fresh and a cultural experience. Fatima was a wealth of info and we loved being with her. We were able to find wild artichokes! There was a man who go peeled them for us. When we arrived in the beautiful Dar and met Hajj we felt like we were welcomed home. We made several dishes and it was one of the very best meals we had in Morocco. This is a not to be missed experience.

Amazing view, great food and even better people.
Super welcoming family, who were very engaging, friendly and hospitable. Fatima and her grandmother, Haga, were terrific hostesses. Fatima picked us up in our Riad, took us shopping for groceries in the medina, and then back to their riad for our class. The rooftop kitchen had an amazing view and it was a fun and very pleasant experience, where we got to meet and chat with local people. Very worthwhile experience and highly recommended.

Authentic and warm experience❤️
This place is a hidden gem. After a walking tour in the Medina, we had some time to kill and asked our guide if he could find us a cooking class. Fatima picked us up at our Ryad, took us to the market and we finally got to her Ryad where her grandmother Fatima Haja was waiting for us. They both were incredibly friendly. Haja was funny as she did not speak English but always found a way to be understood. Fatima would translate and share lots of information on Fez, Morocco, the culture… etc. This cooking class is what made Fez so special to me. Thank you to both of them. I strongly recommend the experience!

Lovely cooking class with an amazing view and very lovely women
A very nice experience with Fatima and her grandmother. We first went to the souks to get all ingredients after we decided what we wanted to prepare. The cooking class is held on the rooftop of a beautiful dar with a full view of the city. Fatima worked as a guide between us and her grandmother. They are really lovely people and we felt very welcome. Would highly recommend this experience!!

A fantastic experience overlooking the Medina while sharing stories and making delicious food together. Unforgettable!
My husband and I had a wonderful time meeting Fatima and shopping for the ingredients before heading to the dar where we met her Hajja who prepared the meal with us. It was lovely cooking and sharing experiences with Fatima, while the grandmother showed us how to knead the bread properly. It was hands on, and it is clear that she has had a lifetime to perfect her art.

An Unforgettable Cultural and Culinary Experience
A wonderful experience with Amina and her grandmother. Their hospitality was incredibly warm and welcoming, and cooking traditional Moroccan dishes with them was truly special. I learned so much about their culture and really appreciated the care they put into everything. Thank you as well for sharing the recipes afterward. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone.

My husband and I absolutely loved our bread making class with Fatima and her grandmother! We went shopping in the market and then taken to the rooftop of their guesthouse where we cooked with beautiful views of the Medina. It was fun, engaging and we really got a taste of Moroccan culture!
