This tour will give you a look into favela life in Rio. You will witness art, music, and daily life in the favela. The people will greet you with smiles and thumbs up signs. Alex is a great guide who grew up in this favela and he gives a great history lesson of Santa Marta

I toured Santa Marta with Alex Júlio and it was truly a unique experience. Alex was born and raised in the favela, so he told us the history and reality of the neighborhood with a lot of authenticity.
What I liked most is that you don't just do tourism: you meet the community, you discover the culture, the viewpoints, and you understand life in the favela better.
Alex speaks French, English, and Portuguese very well, which makes the experience even easier and more interesting.
I really recommend this tour to those who want to discover Rio differently! 🇧🇷❤️
