Loggia dei Lanzi: This open-air sculpture gallery is located next to the Palazzo Vecchio. It features a collection of impressive statues, including Benvenuto Cellini's "Perseus with the Head of Medusa" and Giambologna's "Rape of the Sabine Women."
Statue of David Replica: A replica of Michelangelo's famous statue of David stands in the Piazza della Signoria, near the entrance of the Palazzo Vecchio. The original statue was moved to the Accademia Gallery to protect it from damage.

Guests will also visit the incredible Medici Chapels - two chapels built between the 16th and 17th centuries as an extension to the Basilica of San Lorenzo. They are the Sagrestia Nuova, designed by Michelangelo, and the larger Cappella dei Principi, a collaboration between the Medici family and architects.

Learn about the Medici’s
You must go on this tour. If you have Valentine, you will add to your experience . She is the best! So knowledgeable, so much fun.

So when we did this tour...
So when we did this tour it was unseasonably hot, there’s not much shade at the meetup point. Our guide was wearing a dress and clog sandals and it was hard to locate her. She was rude to start but as we began walking she was better. Lots of information provided but with the crowds at times hard to hear.

Amazing tour and amazing guide
If we could give our guide, Aldo, 10/5 we would. He was kind, considerate and super knowledgeable. The walk through Florence was amazing as were the Medici Chapels. This was our best tour in Florence by far. Highly recommended.

We booked a small group...
We booked a small group tour and it ended up just being my husband and me which was a nice surprise. Guisy was a wonderful guide and we enjoyed our morning with her. We learned so much about Florence’s history during The Renaissance and the role of the Medici Family.

Medici Walking Tour Florence

Best Florence walking tour!
Wonderful walking trip through Florence. From Pza Signoria sights, Ponte Vecchio, Pza Republica, San Lorenzo crypt and the Medici chapel to Central Mercado and many special sights and insights along the way. Antonio was incredibly well versed in Italian history and Florentine/Tuscany history which made our walk interesting! We highly recommend this tour!
