Exploring Divar Island's Hidden Heritage

Had an amazing and totally different experience with Soul Travelling in Goa! ❤️ We were a family group with a senior citizen and a kid, and everyone had a great time. Loved hearing the stories behind the churches and temples, and of course, the feni tasting was the funniest part! 😄🥃 A special shout-out to our guide Kanoor — he was super friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole experience even better. He also suggested some really good restaurants and local markets. Definitely a must-try experience when you’re in Goa. It’s fun, informative and gives you a glimpse of the real Goa beyond the usual touristy places! 🌴✨

My partner and I had such a wonderful experience on this tour. I am so glad we booked. Seeing crocodiles in their natural habitat for the first time was a real highlight for me, as was sampling the local food, which was absolutely delicious! The local community were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the tour offered some exceptional sightseeing opportunities. We also managed to capture some stunning photographs along the way. A truly memorable and authentic experience. I would thoroughly recommend both this tour and the tour operator to anyone visiting Goa.

We had an excellent and very informative tour with Koonan, who was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and clearly passionate about the area. He is very personable, has a great sense of humour, and made the whole experience both interesting and enjoyable. We visited multiple sites around Divar Island, with a really good mix of nature, local history and culture. There was also a boat ride to see the varieties of mangroves and crocodile spotting. The tour ended at a local family home, where we were served authentic Goan snacks, which were delicious, followed by a feni tasting experience. I had previously tried feni at a five-star hotel, but it simply could not compare with the excellent flavoured fenis we were presented with here. Koonan also has a background in mixology, which made the tasting particularly interesting and added another enjoyable dimension to the experience. A genuinely memorable way to explore Divar Island and one I would highly recommend.
