We met Mateus in Vila in Sintra, very friendly, polite and who made us feel safe and at ease. He took us to Parque da Pena and at the end of the day through a whatsup only brought us back to the village.

very funny guy and the best driver of portugal! In a Mario Kart race, he would be at 1st place. Besides of that we had the opportunity to experience the beautiful castles and viewpoints of Sintra, also for a fair price. In general the tour is a must, especially with Mateus as your guide👑!

What an amazing day! As soon as we stepped off the train, Carlos (our fun tour guide) immediately took care of us. He explained our options and recommended the best places to visit. On his advice, we chose to explore Quinta da Regaleira, with Carlos taking us everywhere we needed to go. We set off, and along the way, Carlos showed us all the beautiful sights in the area on our way to Quinta da Regaleira. We stopped multiple times to take stunning photos while he shared the history of the region and all the palaces we passed. He then dropped us off in the old town near Quinta da Regaleira, where we had lunch, explored, and - on Carlos' recommendation - tried the local delicacy "Travesseiro de Sintra". After that, we walked to Quinta da Regaleira, where we spent a long time wandering through the beautiful gardens and even explored one of the caves. The garden alone is vast, and you could easily spend hours there. The palace in the garden was also truly impressive. Afterward, we walked back to the old town, where Carlos picked us up again. He gave us two options: 1. Head straight to Cascais (a stylish fishing village where we eventually had a delicious dinner). 2. Visit Cabo da Roca first (the westernmost point of Europe with breathtaking views) and then go to Cascais. We decided to visit Cabo da Roca, where we enjoyed walking around, soaking in the views, and sipping on delicious Piña Coladas. After that, Carlos dropped us off in Cascais, at a lovely restaurant with a wide selection of pizzas, pasta, meat, and seafood dishes. From early morning until late at night, we were out exploring—it was a fantastic day, and Carlos played a big role in making it so special. He shared great stories, kept the atmosphere lively with his Brazilian music and humor, and ensured we were comfortable everywhere we went. We saw other tourists walking long distances or crammed into overcrowded buses—it must have been exhausting, making the day feel even longer! Carlos took us to beautiful, less touristy locations and shared interesting insights about each place. All in all, it was an incredible experience and an absolute must-do when visiting Lisbon!
