I booked this activity because it was advertised as "Explore Karaburun Peninsula with Guided Diving Activity." The title gave me the clear impression that I would be diving at the Karaburun Peninsula. However, the individual beginner dive did not take place at the Karaburun Peninsula. Instead, we were taken to a nearby shore dive site. Although the detailed itinerary mentions a shore dive for individual beginners, this is not made clear during the booking process. The overall listing strongly promotes the Karaburun Peninsula, and the booking page also states "up to 6 people per group," making it even more confusing that completely different experiences are offered under the same listing. After the tour, I spoke with another representative of the tour operator told me they did not know why it was written that way. This made me feel that the misleading listing was not the customer's fault. They refused to offer the refund, so unfortunately I needed to bring this up to the Tripadvisor/ Viator customer service, and experience the complicated process. Another disappointing issue was that the listing stated that photos and videos were included, but I never received any photos or videos after the activity. I traveled to Vlore specifically to experience the crystal-clear waters of the Karaburun Peninsula. Unfortunately, that was the main reason I booked this tour, and it never happened. It was extremely disappointing. The instructors at the dive site were friendly, but the product description and what was actually provided did not match my expectations. I hope the listing will be corrected so future customers clearly understand what they are booking.
Thank you for the detailed feedback, and I apologise. The title promised Karaburun and a beginner shore dive near Vlora does not deliver that. We are correcting the listing so the beginner option is clearly a shore dive, and the photos and videos are stated per option. I am also sorry the refund process was harder than it should have been. The Karaburun and Sazan boat trips from Vlora remain the way to see those waters, and we hope you get to experience them one day. Donald, InAlb
