Itinerary
With your guide, you will take the Mt.Fuji Panoramic Ropeway up 1,075m to the summit of Mt.Tenjo.From there you can see wonderful views of Lake Kawaguchiko (the most famous of the Fuji Five Lakes) with Mt.Fuji in all its glory in the background.Feel free to enjoy an icecream or snack from a stall at the top.Once you have soaked in the view, you will hike back down, enjoying an easy 40 minute trek along the “hydrangea road”, a path through the woods lined on both sides with hydrangea flowers.
Lunch at Hotokura Funari Kawaguchiko - Try the famous dish of the Kawaguchiko area - hoto noodles. Hoto noodles are like a heartier, thicker version of udon, served hot with vegetables in the stew.
You will rent bicycles at the Shiki no Yado Fujisan hotel and cycle 2.9km around the sparkling lake. You will then drop off your bikes at the Kawaguchiko Boathouse and be driven a few minutes to Oishi Park. Oishi Park is home to fields of flowers spreading like a carpet along the lakeshore. This is a lovely spot to take a rest and refresh, and take hundreds of photos of the flowers together with Mt. Fuji!
Sitting beside the lush green of the Aokigahara Forest, Lake Saiko is perhaps the most tranquil of the Fuji Five Lakes. It's filled with crystal clear blue water and is the best place in the area for swimming or boating. Here you can take some wonderful photos of Mt.Fuji, or even go for a dip if you need refreshing.
Iyashi no Sato offers you the chance to explore a traditional Japanese farming village.Near to the shores of Lake Saiko, the village was destroyed in a landslide in 1966, but was reconstructed in 2006 as an open air museum. You can see how people once lived and try your hand at some traditional crafts and old-fashioned toys.
Situated in the infamous Aokigahara forest, the "Ice Cave" stays at freezing temperatures even in the heat of summer Due to this, it was historically used for storing ice for use in the warmer months. You can enter the depths of the earth and explore this historic cave.

This was a fun-filled day with pickup and drop-off service. We were lucky enough to have Yahiro as our guide on our day long adventure. We had fun speaking with him during the entire trip and he was kind enough to answer our million questions about Japan. Most of all, he did a great job helping us find a place for lunch that was safe for my daughter who has celiac. This meant the world to us as Celiac safe Gluten Free can be hard to find here. Thank you Yahiro!

We’re especially glad he could help find a safe and enjoyable lunch spot for your daughter—that truly means a lot to us. Thank you again for your review, and we look forward to welcoming you back someday! Best regards, Kyoko
It was a smooth experience booking with Omakase. The tour guide and driver were lovely. We really appreciated our tour guide and driver being patient and flexible with us as we were travelling with a 9month old baby and an elderly person. We also really appreciated our tour guide sharing her vast knowledge of the history, cultural significance and stories of the places we visited. Highly recommend Omakase tours.

We toured with Keita "K" and he was one of the nicest human beings to exist. He had the biggest smile on his face everywhere he took us. He also let us really take our time in the places that we went. He was very informative of the places we went and even told us about the folk tales that were popular in the region. The bus driver was also very skilled and respectful and was timely in his drive. The places were very cool to go to including the cable car and the ice cream at the flower garden were to die for. Really recommend this tour and K. He even stayed in contact after for further recommendations.
Dear valued guest, Thank you for your detailed review and a big love for our guide Keita! We are delighted that you were impressed with his amazing guiding, and also so nice of you to mention the driver's skill. We are very much looking forward to your next visit! Best regards, Kyoko
We had booked a day trip to enjoy the surroundings of Mt. Fuji with our guide Keita. It was very enjoyable from the start. We are quite demanding and do not like the obvious tourist attractions. Keita managed to surprise us with a great lunch, changed the schedule half way and took us to a very nice coffee shop at the end. Overall a great day and we highly recommend Keita as a guide. :)

Satsuki took us to places with stunning views of Mt Fuji, she and the driver were very kind and knowledgable. For instance, we were able to skip long lines everywhere due to their knowledge of when to go. Also Satsuki was very helpful in finding lunch with vegetarian food.

Tetsu and Kay were a fantastic guide duo on our trip to Mt. Fuji. Tetsu lead us though a fantastic trip to sacred waterfalls, a shinto shrine, a traditional japanese village, crystal clear lakes, and more. Fuji-san is more than a mountain after our trip!

We loved our tour. Great locations for stunning views of cherry blossoms and Mt Fuji. Was nice to visit a quieter temple also without the crowds.
Dear Valued Customer, Thank you so much for your review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your tour. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable experience soon! Regards, Mariko
Mt Fuji put on a great show on the day of our visit. Showing off its spender in a clear blue sky and ending the day enveloped in cloud. In addition, we experienced contrasting attractions in the surrounding areas. Another delightful experience was local food at Houtou Fudou Kawaguchiko. Our guide was amazing; most knowledgeable and very friendly. Our day was long and unfortunately we were subject to abnormally slow traffic both ways in a number of sections of our trip. Overall, a day to remember.
Dear Valued customer, Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your day exploring Mt. Fuji and its surrounding areas. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back for more memorable experiences in the future. Best regards, Mariko
The tour was flexible and accommodating to our kids. We had 5 kids in our group (15,13,12,11,8). We had a great time taking in the Fuji landscapes, breathing fresh air and the tour guide patiently answered all of our questions about Japan.

This was one of our highlights on our first holiday to Japan. We could not have picked a more beautiful day and also our tour guide Yumi was lovely. Sharing her knowledge on so many facts that we did not know about Japan. She took her time with us, didn't rush the day and made sure we got to see everything that was planned. We felt so comfortable with her that she became one of the family on that day. I cannot recommend this private tour more and I would be sure to do this again and also make sure that Yumi was our guide. It was the most wonderful day, a bucket list experience on seeing the majestic Mt Fuji.
Dear Valued Customer, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! It really means a lot to us. We are thrilled to know that you enjoyed your tour with Yumi. We are extremely lucky to have her in our team! I hope we will be able to help you explore Japan again in the future! Best regards, Monica
