Beautiful vacation place! It’s been ten years since we were last there and it has changed. It’s gotten too well known and too crowded. That said, you need to get up early and you need to book events at least a week or two in advance or they fill up. In fact, maybe three weeks ahead.

An amazing tour! Our driver was outstanding! We were able to visit and spend time at the lakes and other attractions. The time spent at each stop was completely up to us, which was very nice! He recommended some incredible hikes that we wouldn’t have known about. He was able to take some great family photos as well!

We booked a private tour with Abest to visit Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and the other stunning lakes around Banff — and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Traveling as a family of 9, including my brother and his 1-year-old baby, having a private tour made everything so much more convenient and comfortable for us. The booking process through Facebook Messenger was quick and efficient. Once we finalized our date, their reservations team sent a secure payment link via email for the 50% downpayment. The remaining balance was due 7 days before the tour — everything was smooth and seamless from start to finish. On the day of our tour, our driver and guide, Kuya Manny, arrived on time right at the front of our hotel. We were so lucky to have him as our guide! He was not only professional and patient, but also incredibly knowledgeable about all the places we visited and the Banff National Park and Banff in general. You could really tell that he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. One unexpected bonus — his photography skills! He patiently took beautiful photos of our family at every stop. He knew the best photo spots in each area. He even gave us great local tips for our self-drive itinerary the following day — like going to Bow Lake early in the morning and parking near the red lodge to get the best views. (Please tell him we truly appreciated this advice!) It was a truly amazing experience from start to end, and we’re incredibly grateful to Abest and Kuya Manny for making our trip so memorable!❤️

We booked a private tour since you can not access Lake Morraine otherwise. While you can use the roam transit bus - it is tough to get a scheduled ticket.

Augusto was our tour guide and he picked us up right on time from our hotel in the morning. We were hoping to get to see Lake Moraine but unfortunately it was closed for the season. To make up for it, in addition to Lake Louise, Augusto recommended we go to Peyto Lake and Lake Emerald instead. These were amazing recommendations! Peyto Lake was breathtaking and we were able to see it from the lookout point! Emerald Lake was also a spectacular view! Most importantly, I told Abest and Augusto that I was planning to propose to my partner during the tour. I originally planned to do it at Lake Louise, but since Augusto’s recommendation of Peyto lake looked so beautiful, I told him I would do it there instead. He took me and my fiancé to a secluded spot underneath the main walkway with complete privacy and an unobstructed view of the lake. It was PERFECT. Thank you so much Augusto and Abest for making our special day unforgettable!!
