Excursion to Ras Mohammed Sharm El Sheikh by bus

We went on a beautiful excursion in Ras Mohamed National Park, accompanied by Ahmed, an Egyptian guy who speaks Italian very well. He was truly excellent: prepared, competent, helpful, and also very nice. He guided us from the beginning to the end of the excursion, managing to involve the whole group and create a beautiful atmosphere of harmony and cheerfulness right from the start. Our entire bus was really happy and satisfied with his work, so we can only give him our compliments! During the day we visited several evocative places, including the Gate of Allah, the Magic Lake, and the mangrove area. One of the most beautiful experiences was definitely snorkeling in Ras Mohamed National Park; Hamed got into the water with us and personally followed the whole group. There were also three or four people who did not know how to swim and he helped them with great attention, having them lean on a lifebuoy and accompanying them step by step, allowing even them to experience this in safety. Furthermore, his assistant took photos of us and made beautiful underwater videos, leaving us an even more special memory of the day. An absolutely positive experience that I recommend! The value for money was also excellent: we paid only €19 per person. A small tip: for snorkeling, it is better to be already equipped with a mask, fins, and a life jacket. Alternatively, during the trip, they take you to a place where it is possible to rent the necessary equipment. Overall, a beautiful excursion and a truly magical experience. A special thanks to Ahmed for the professionalism, friendliness, and attention he dedicated to the whole group. Highly recommended!

We had very good time and really enjoyed. It's expensive compared to others especially that we paid tourists price & in $ while we are Egyptian Tour guide Ahmed El Nady was very professional, active & knowledge. They accommodated very well the presence of my 85 years old mother. Mahmoud the photographer made good shots at reasonable price Aside of the price I highly recommend it

Ras mohamed by land very interesting places to see a little disappointed by the reef, better with excursion by sea x see the reef.

Meanwhile, a shop at the helm, a really capable guy, professional and friendly with everyone. I knew the itinerary, but many skip the mangroves, but our boy took us to the mangroves, explained a lot and made us muddy at the magical lake, taking himself for us. Unfortunately, our overall experience was rather mediocre, even though some parts of the tour were enjoyable. The snorkeling section was the most disappointing. The guide basically forced us to rent life jackets and snorkeling equipment (two life jackets and two pairs of fins for a total of €18), even though we can swim and didn’t really need them. In the end, we only did about 20 minutes of snorkeling, so the cost felt quite excessive compared to the actual time spent. The photo service was also a letdown. At the beginning, we were told that the photographer was a professional and that we would decide ourselves how much to pay based on the photos and videos. Instead, at the end we were asked for €20 per couple for a small number of pictures, many of them crooked or blurry, and for very poor underwater videos, mostly showing people swimming with their life jackets. The coral reef was barely filmed, except for a couple of extremely short clips. I’m not saying the excursion should be completely avoided, because there were some nice moments. But I will give one piece of advice: don’t let yourselves be pressured. If you can swim, life jackets, fins, and wetsuits are not really necessary (the water was pleasant, despite being told otherwise at the rental point). And if you have your own camera or underwater action cam, that’s definitely better than relying on the photographer. I hope this review helps others enjoy the experience in a more transparent and informed way.

A day in yacth, discovering the seas, I recommend it to those who are ready for adventure! Fantastic first snorkeling experience! Just a mask and you can see the wonders of the coral reef and its inhabitants, the white island! Beautiful! There is swimming a bit. Cheerful and engaging staff always available!
