A fantastic tapas tour through Málaga! 🍷🍤 What a great tapas tour we enjoyed! Our guide Victor made it a truly unforgettable experience. He has a tremendous amount of knowledge about Málaga, but knows how to tell it in a very enthusiastic, cozy, and humorous way. We not only ate and drank deliciously, but also learned a lot about the city, the culture, and local life along the way. Victor took us to several nice restaurants and an authentic local bar, places we probably never would have found ourselves. That's why the tour felt very personal and we got a nice impression of the real Málaga. Victor, thanks for your enthusiasm, humor, and all the wonderful stories! Thanks to you, we got to know Málaga in a completely different way and ate incredibly well. This tapas tour is absolutely a must-do for anyone who wants to discover, taste and experience Málaga! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I would highly recommend the Evening Tapas tour. From the moment I made the booking I received clear emails confirming the arrangements and instructions on where and when to meet our guide. Vincent replied promptly and couldn’t do enough to make our evening memorable. Our guide Paco was born and raised in Malaga and his love of the city, its food and culture was infectious. We are a family of four, three vegetarians and a meat eater. Paco had carefully chosen a menu that suited us all and introduced us to some superb local red wines. As we walked between the restaurants he gave us a history of Malaga and took us into a beautifully restored church. He gave us lots of inspiration for places to see and visit while we were in the city. Four days just wasn’t enough to see this wonderful city and I can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you Vincent and Paco for a fabulous evening.
Damian (our guide) was lovely and extremely knowledgeable. We sampled three different tapas restaurants in the centre of Malaga with interesting commentary of the city’s history interspersed between. We ate delicious food, had lovely (very quaffable) wine and had a real laugh with Damian. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting the city.
We had a great tapas tour with Paco! What a very sweet, enthusiastic and passionate guide. He knows a lot about the city and knows how to convey it with great pleasure and humor. Thanks to him, we not only tasted delicious tapas, but also got to know the city in a completely different way. Highly recommended!
A good way to see the city and make new friends. The food was good and the chance to try new stuff was ideal. Damian was informative and helpful. Would recommend
Thank you for your kind words! We’re glad you enjoyed discovering the city, trying new foods, and connecting with fellow travelers. It’s great to hear that Damian helped make the experience informative and enjoyable. We truly appreciate the recommendation and hope to see you again in Málaga!
Damian did an excellent job presenting/selling Málaga to us. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything and was more than happy to answer all our questions. The spots chosen for the food tasting were just divine and remarkable. He even showed us one and two little hidden gems. Thanks again Damian!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you enjoyed the tour and the food spots—we’re lucky to have such delicious local flavors to share! It was a pleasure spending time with you and showing you some of Málaga’s hidden gems. I always try to make the experience both informative and enjoyable, so I’m thrilled to hear it came through. Thanks again for joining me, and I hope you’ll come back to discover even more of what this beautiful city has to offer! — Damián
We booked a group tour which ended up with only ourselves and our guide Paco. That was a real gift as I’m sure Paco must know every restaurant owner and waiter in Malaga. We visited three separate tapas restaurants, were met with the hosts ready for us and had a variety of different local specialties with a glass of wine or beer( alcohol free if preferred). Ham croquettes, paella, pork in moscatel sauce and jamon iberico esp good. A great way to be introduced to some excellent places to eat. While we were there Paco was checking up on options to suit vegetarians. We ended up with a walk through the oldest bar in town. Paco had already taken us to various well known and less well known sites and told us the history of the places as we walked between restaurants. Top tips - Have a light lunch and don’t feel you have to eat all the bread!
Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that your small-group tour turned into a personalized experience with Paco — he truly does have a special connection with Málaga and its local food scene. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed the variety of tapas, the thoughtful vegetarian options, and the blend of history and gastronomy throughout the tour. Paco will be thrilled to know his efforts were so appreciated! Thank you also for the great tips, we couldn’t agree more! We hope to welcome you again soon for another taste of Málaga.
Paco was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw a good selection of local eateries, including a few drinks along the way.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time with Paco and appreciated the selection of local eateries and drinks. We always aim to provide a memorable and authentic experience. We hope to welcome you back soon for more culinary adventures!
Due to the time of year that we took the trip, we were actually the only people on the group tour. The tour was excellent, informative and the food was wonderful. Damien was our guide, he provided us with information relevant to the tour we were taking but also a wealth of knowledge about the local area/history and culture. I would absolutely recommend booking the tapas and wine tour for an all round educational experience (with the added bonus of delicious food and drink) 10/10 from us.
