Etna and Taormina tour from Syracuse with private driver

Sebastian was great and perfect way to go to both places without a worry. He also was very flexible. Loves it and repeat for sure

It is primarily a driver to two locations. Ours was also a helpful guide. Both sites are definitely worth going to.

We quickly realised that our driver was only that, a driver, not a tour guide. That was disappointing as we would have liked more info about both Mt Etna and Taormina. The Mt Etna experience was interesting and I am glad I have been, but obviously very crowded and commercialised. I should have done more research beforehand. We were then driven to Taormina and dropped off at Catania gate. This leads to a series of restaurants and shops very similar to that in Syracuse, where were based. Again, no explanation of history or geography and we were under prepared in that regard. Not interested in shopping!

On the day trip to Etna and Taormina from Syracuse, both Giuliana and the driver were very helpful and friendly. Special praise goes to the tour guide, who always knew how to meet the different needs of the participants, whether linguistically (English and Italian) or according to the fitness level. We were fortunate enough to have nobody else join us in the day for the tour so benefitted from a private tour around Etna & Taormina. Marco (the tour guide) was so knowledgeable of his city and the area, very easy to talk to and friendly I feel I have made a friend in him and will continue to keep in touch for many years. Maximum professionalism and courtesy! .... our guide was impeccable, we chose the Etna Taormina tour that I recommend to anyone who comes on holiday in our areas ... surely we will rely on them for other tours and we will recommend it to our friends and relatives who will come to visit us in Sicily!

We chose this excursion through advice of the b & b of Ortigia where we stayed. That's right! Our driver-guide Marco was really helpful and very kind to our requests. Amazing amazing experience. Tour guide (Marco) was patient, down to earth and spoke great English (hard to find around here). Took his time to explain every part of tour and allowed me the chance to explore when I could. Highly recommend!
