Private Day Trip to Syracuse from Taormina

We scheduled two separate daytrips from Taormina, one to Cefalu and Castelbuono, and one to Ragusa, Modica and Ortigia. Our driver both days was Costa, who made our two days truly unforgettable. We were very excited to visit the famous bakery, Fiasconaro, in Castelbuono. We loved taste testing, and brought home many amazing treats. The second day, Costa went above and beyond by stopping at the airport for us to collect a lost bag. He actually went into the airport with my sister and helped navigate the very chaotic lost and found department. This was very appreciated. We traveled on to our destinations and especially loved trying the chocolate in Modica at Sabadi and Bonajuto. Back in Taormina, we ate dinner at a restaurant recommended to us by Costa. The fresh grouper and seafood pasta was one of the best meals of our three-week trip. We cannot recommend Costa enough. He taught us the difference between Arincino and arincina, the famous balcony heads, and so much more! Thank you, Costa, for an amazing two days together!

Costa was absolutely amazing from start to finish he went above and beyond for us. I randomly last minute called and organised a tour around Sicily. costa was able to organise an amazing tour for us around Sicily and then through the tour my daughter and son got really sick and had high temperatures and costa rushed them to the hospital as quickly as he could, he helped translate the English language to the doctors , bought myself and kids food and drink while they were on the drip and then waited till the end took us to the chemist to get medicine and took us home again after an extra 2 hours he stayed waiting for us. I couldn’t have got through today with out costa.He was amazing and from the bottom of my heart I want to say the biggest appreciation thank you for everything Costa did for me and my kids today. Thank you so much Costa 🙏

Andrew our driver was a lovely young man. Felt very safe with his driving. The Necropolis was very interesting and Ortega is beautiful. Make sure you take a hat and lots of water as it was very hot in both places.

A great trip. Costa was friendly, professional and informative. It was a very comfortable drive and then we got to explore ourselves and make the most of our time.

I highly recommend this private transport service from Taormina to Siracusa and Ortigia with drop-off in Catania! Our driver, Costa, was extremely personable and knowlegeable about the area, and while he didn't persona;ly escort us to the stops, he made recommendations for places to visit and things to do in both Siracusa and Ortigia.
