Ephesus is not to be missed. I’ve visited multiple times and there is always something new to see. Having a tour that started us at the top and picked us up at the bottom really helped make the day even more enjoyable. Our guide pointed out many highlights. I was surprised we weren’t advised or encouraged to visit the terrace houses, though. As it was a small group, the guide did his best to tailor to the wishes of the majority. As we were only two, we didn’t feel right requesting the offerings of the guide when the others just wanted to go back to the ship for lunch. This made the tour much shorter than we’d anticipated, so we were disappointed in that respect, but it’s out own fault for not speaking up. Maybe a bit more structure would ensure no one feels like they missed out on everything they thought they were getting.

Virgin Mary’s House is a Catholic shrine located at the skirt of Bulbul Mountain in Selcuk. It is discovered after a nun in Germany described the place in her visions about a house Mother Mary lived before she died. It has become an important pilgrimage spot for Catholics since then.

Highly Recommend!!!
We had a wonderful experience touring Ephesus! We were picked up in a comfortable, spacious Mercedes van with a separate driver, which allowed our guide, Hussain, to sit with us and share the history of the area as we traveled. He was very knowledgeable and made the experience so interesting. Ephesus was incredible, and the entire tour was comfortable, informative, and well organized. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Kusadasi/Ephesus!
Beautiful Kusadasi! Can’t say enough about this. We had pick up at the port. The guide and driver were great. It was an air conditioned van! Lots of walking to be expected but we were not rushed and we walked into history past. Fascinating and highly recommended!

Loved our Ephesus tour!!!
Our guide Derya was excellent. She shared information easily sometimes a little too much. She took us to a Turkish restaurant which was absolutely fabulous. She explained exactly what we were eating. The trip was just very good very well planned and I would do it again with the exact same guide she was very personal and professional the vehicle and the driver were awesome and everything was as advertised only better!!

Wonderful Private Tour for my family (6)

Excellent guide and tour, but the restaurant was a letdown
Gufte was a wonderful tour guide, super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the lunch restaurant was a big disappointment. The food was overpriced for the small portions and low quality, and it felt like a tourist ripoff. We enjoyed the tour and Gufte, but we would definitely recommend the company partner with a different restaurant.
