Ephesus Tour From Izmir

Ekim was one of the best tour guides I have had. A consummate professional and very knowledgeable about what we saw and just about anything else you would be curious about. 100% I look forward to the opportunity to go on another tour with him soon!

The excursion was very interesting. We left at 7:50 AM and arrived around 4:15 PM. I think the Spanish-speaking guide performed very well; it was clear that he knows a lot about the site and Greco-Roman culture in general. However, I think the company doesn't utilize him enough; I was left wanting to enjoy more of his explanation. The excursion plan is unbalanced; we saw some things too quickly (not because of the guide, but because of the planning). We would have liked to see the terrace houses and there was no option (even though they are paid for extra, that was not a problem on our part); however, they then had us waiting for an hour at the restaurant after lunch (while the other part of the group went to the House of the Virgin Mary, they had paid for it and we had not, something we accepted), an hour that we could have better spent at the archaeological site and we lost it there. On the other hand, they came to pick us up near our hotel and dropped us off at the same spot, something to highlight as a positive aspect. Regarding the bus, it was comfortable. Three stops are made, one before arriving in Ephesus, at a traditional pottery shop, and two others after, the first to eat at a restaurant in Selçuk (5 minutes from the archaeological site) and another shortly after starting the return trip at a Turkish delight shop. In general terms, the archaeological site is very interesting, the guide's contributions were also very good, but I think the planning and organization could be improved, as well as the adaptation of access to extra places.

Alpi, the guide, is an excellent professional. He explained the entire history of Ephesus to us in a detailed and super precise way.

Everything was excellent. The guide and the guide are perfect and well trained. I would highly recommend it.

Amazing tour of Ephesus! The archaeological site itself, the first and main focus of our tour, made a deep impression on us, offering a rare glimpse into an almost complete Roman town. Our guide, Alperen, was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and engaging. He really brought the ancient city to life through his descriptions and explanations, making the experience all the more memorable. Our driver, Can, was on call throughout the day to take us comfortably from one stop to the next, which was especially appreciated given the very hot weather. Overall, the tour was very well organised, with smooth transitions between sites and excellent coordination throughout the day. A wonderful way to experience Ephesus - highly recommended!

Visiting Ephesus is a must do activity! Alpi was an exceptional and friendly tour guide alongside with the driver. The driver was timely and dropped us off to the hotel on time. The tour was a good pace and Alphi was very knowledgeable and keeps an eye on everyone. Highly recommend to get him or the travel agency if you ever come to Izmir!
