Or tell your guide exactly where you would like to go; personalized service is available for up to 8 hours

Itinerary
Your guide will meet with you at your hotel lobby in Izmir city center or at Izmir port or Izmir Airport with your name sign. You will drive to Ephesus region around 1 hour.
Drive to the ancient city of Ephesus, where you'll explore the area's landmarks, attractions, and historical sites. Your guide can suggest an itinerary or you can create your own. You may visit sites such as the Sevel Sleepers, Isa bey Mosque, Sirince Village, the Selcuk Museum, the Basilica of St. John, Artemission Temple, and the Terrace Houses. Entrance fees are at your own expense. Midday, choose to stop for lunch at your own expense, your guide will be happy to suggest a place. Please be prepared for a moderate amount of walking and note that modest dress is required to enter some places of worship.
At the end of the tour, drive back to your hotel in Izmir, or to Izmir Airport or to Izmir port. End of our services.

Our guide Ekim Ateş was excellent and created a fully customized tour for our small group of 3 adult family members. We preferred to spend more time viewing the amazing tile mosaics in the hilltop houses in Ephesus and less time at the ruins of the temple of Artemis, and Ekim accommodated our request. It does take some time to reach Ephesus from the airport, so give the amount of time spent on the return trip to the airport, next time we would probably try to spend longer as there is a lot to see if you are interested in Roman history.
This was a great tour! We had 5 girls so doing the private tour was perfect. Our tour guide & driver were awesome. Just be aware that all tours want you to stop at one of the "factories". It can be rugs, jewerly, pottery...etc. With a private tour you can decline. We did go see the leather. They even did a fashion show. The city of Efes is definitely worth seeing. Make sure to go see Virgin Mary's house.

for those with limited time and on a customizable guided tour - recommend skipping Temple of Artemis, House of Mary and lunch at neighbouring “picturesque” villages. So much to see in Ephesus - don’t miss the terrace house. Stone walkways are very slippery so wear shoes with good grip.

Our guide, Ekim, completely made this tour. Ephesus is definitely a special place but can also be long, very busy, and overwhelming. Ekim had the perfect balance of fun, history and just a wonderful person, with so much knowledge and maturity. We've been on many tours around the world and this was one of the best. If you book this, make sure you request Ekim!
Zelda was amazing! Very knowledgeable and kind. With it so busy she was able to adapt and navigate our tour group around the long lines. We didn’t have to wait for more than a couple minutes in any line! Our driver was great too with a very nice van. Fantastic job!!
Selda was an excellent tour guide. She kept us on track and pivoted when lines were too long during a VERY hot day. She anticipated our needs so well. We had the best day exploring ruins, learning all about rugs & ceramics, enjoying lunch, & the Church of Virgin Mary. Lastly, bringing us back to our cruise port on time.
