Ephesus Shore Excursion from Kusadasi Port with Guide

The communication between Catchup Turkey and me was very poor. Firstly, I didn’t have my phone to double check the pickup details so I used my husbands phone to log into Viator to message the organizer. I left a text asking if the guide was at the port and received no response. Then, we tried to call the number listed and it came back non operational, then I contacted Viator and they said for us to leave the port and go outside which we did and there was nobody waiting for us..we went back to terminal and still nobody there. I requested a refund from Viator which was denied because the organizer blamed me for a no show. Nobody on the cruise ship had to leave the terminal to be picked up for their tours. All were greeted by their guides prior to entry into shopping.

We learned so much about local culture & traditions. Our visit to the ancient city was outstanding. A really good day all the way around

Oguz was a lovely, kind, and knowledgeable guide. I was traveling with my elderly mother and he was very patient and accommodating with her. We visited the House of the Virgin Mary and Ephesus - magnificent places made better with all the stories and fascinating details that Oguz was able to provide. Our driver was also wonderful and his vehicle was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this tour if you ever find yourself in beautiful Kusadasi.

Our tour guide Hüseyin was great! He was very knowledgeable, well mannered, soft spoken, and easy to understand. We explained to him that we weren’t too interested in history/religion and he fully catered the tour to us. We thought ephesus would be boring, but Hüseyin made it captivating! He was able to answer all of our questions, even the super silly ones. He was also a great photographer lol. Driver was also great, nice and smooth. Definitely recommend!

Oscar was a fountain of knowledge in the, cultural, political and architectural history of Ephesus. He was very accommodating with our trip and made it a fantastic experience.

Additionally, the driver was very pleasant, and the car was impeccably clean, stocked with water, ensuring our comfort throughout the journey. I highly recommend this tour.
