Elafonissi Beach Experience
If you like swimming vs wading you need to go beyond the lagoon to reach water that is deep enough to swim. Not really much pink sand. Unfortunately inconsiderate tourists insist on taking samples which means by the end of the season there isn't much left. Despite that we weren't disappointed. According to the tour guide during July and April there are about 7,000 visitors a day. Keep to the spring or fall.

Naturally beautiful

PINK SAND BEACH
Beautiful beach on which by the action of corals, a line of pink sand forms on the coast. On the other hand it has a small island opposite which can be reached by walking by the sea by the shallow depth.

I loved it!!! Beautiful!!! Who comes to Crete has to know!!! Imperdible!!!
I loved it!!! Nice!!! Clean, calm waters, looks like a pool, water temperature pleasant and transparent! The strip of sand in the pink tone near the water, gives a unique special charm to this beach!!!
