We loved this show's top tier performance!
The artists performing in this Tango Show were superb! We were pleasantly surprised at the extremely high level of their musical and dancing skills. We got the added treat of seeing and hearing legendary Argentine singer Hugo Marcel. Everyone knew his songs and sang along. The dinner before the show was very good. They accommodated my husband, who is gluten free and dairy free. We enjoyed the complimentary wine which was of pretty good quality.

Tango show
This was really a unique and special experience. The venue is awesome with its history. The dancers and the live band were great and the malambo entertainers were energizing! Must see while there!

I have had other tango experiences in the city, but this one surpassed all without a doubt.
Immaculate, complete presentations overflowing the origins of tango and all its cultural richness. The dances, the music and the malambo excite and leave us in ecstasy. I want to repeat the next time you're in Buenos Aires.

Stunning performance
The dancers were incredible and the show ran like clockwork. My only slight negative comment would be that the singer was probably on a little too long and i would have prefer more dancing but overall still a spectacular show and a must do in Buenos Aires.

Venue Capacity was Waaaay Overfilled
The dancers, production, service staff, and the 90-minute performance were all excellent. Kudos to the performers and everyone working behind the scenes— they truly delivered a memorable show.
However, on the night I attended, the venue felt overfilled. Seating was extremely tight, with guests packed closely together. I was seated in an upper tier corner, which already felt like a disadvantage, but it was made worse by an inconsiderate guest in front who repeatedly held their phone up, obstructing the view while trying to document the entire show.
Leaning forward wasn’t an option either, as I would have blocked the view of those seated behind me. In the end, I had to stand for most of the performance just to properly appreciate the show.
I understand this is a cultural experience popular with tourists, but I hope management takes a closer look at venue capacity. It significantly affects the overall guest experience and expectations. It’s a shame when such talented performers give their all, only for the atmosphere to feel cramped and, at times, like a money-driven setup.
Would I recommend the show? Yes.
Would I recommend watching tango at El Viejo Almacén based on this experience? Unfortunately, no.

However, I am sincerely sorry that the seating arrangements and the venue's capacity overshadowed such a great show for you. We take your comments very seriously. El Viejo Almacén is a historic building from 1969, and while its intimate atmosphere is part of its charm, we understand that "intimate" should never mean "uncomfortable" or "overcrowded."
Regarding the guest who obstructed your view with their phone, I apologize that our floor staff didn't intervene to ensure everyone could enjoy the show comfortably. Your feedback about the upper tier seating and the feeling of being "packed in" has been shared directly with our Sales and Operations Management to re-evaluate our capacity limits and seating charts.

Exceeded Expectations!
This show was so much more than I expected. It was outstanding, everything about it! The musicians, the dancers, the singers, the costumes, even the servers! It was truly “Broadway” quality at a very accessible price. I also appreciated that transportation to/from was included. I highly recommend this show at El Viejo Almacen.

Beware of considering the VIP seating
Super frustrating experience, we booked and they happily took our money for VIP seating but when we got seated we were no where near VIP seating. When I questioned it I was told well they had a large group book. Completely unacceptable to still take out money for VIP seating if none was available.
