Meet your local guide next to the Eiffel Tower for a brief and fascinating introduction that will give you the keys to enjoy Paris' most famous tower to the fullest. Your guide will then take you straight to the second level, bypassing the waiting lines on the ground. On the second level, you will enjoy anecdotes about the Eiffel Tower and its unique history. You will also learn more about the City of Light, and see many of its highlights from above, including Notre Dame, the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, and Les Invalides. At the end of your guided tour, you will be free to continue exploring the Eiffel Tower on your own and ascend to the summit through a second elevator where even more breathtaking views await. Sip a glass of bubbly from the Champagne bar (own expense) while you admire Paris glittering below. On your way down, be sure to stop at the first level and walk on new glass floor some 200 dizzying feet above the ground.

It was useful to have shorter line access to the Eiffel Tower. Our guide did not add much value as he spoke softly and just held up photos on his phone as he described certain things. The most frustrating thing was to actually find the guide at the address provided on the app. He was a young man standing in the sidewalk in front of a store with a phone in his hand just like everyone else. He didn’t display a sign or some kind of placard to identify the location. We were actually standing right next to him looking around trying to find out if we were at the right location and didn’t even realize that we were at the correct location until a few other people showed up also looking around. We noticed him looking down at a clipboard so we asked him if he was from Viator. To me, this was not acceptable. We were traveling on a Viking pre-extension to our river cruise to Normandy and you can always find the agents because they are dressed in identifying clothing and hold up signs.

Tina was an amazing guide. We were very short on time and her advice to manage our expierence was impeccable. With the time we had for the tour her knowledge and enthusiasm was fantastic.
Our tour guide spent very little time explaining anything. And when he did talk, it was only to the four or five people who were closest to him. The rest of the group couldn’t hear a thing. We heard more from the tour guide of another group! We also spent an hour waiting to get in, in the blazing sun. This day was particularly hot in Paris, which is not your fault. But it didn’t help to make me enjoy the experience. I was also using a cane to help me walk. And the security changed my access and did not allow me up to the summit. So I did not get part of the experience I thought I was paying for.

Because of heatwave in Paris Eiffel Tower was closed the day of our booking. How do I get a refund for the cancelled trip that tour director never showed up at meeting place to inform us of the closing.
Do it at sunset, a lighted view, night city views and light shows.
There was no tour. Our guide didn’t even introduce himself. We waited in the same security line as everyone else. He told us about the elevator and steps and that was it. We reached the 2nd floor and told us we should get in line for the summit. He can give a 20 minute tour but he suggested we get in line instead. That was the tour. We were very disappointed, total waste of money.
