Our Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glencoe and fort William tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland, and so much of that is thanks to our incredible guide, Neil. Neil was absolutely fantastic. His humour, storytelling, and knowledge brought the Highlands to life in a way we never could have experienced on our own. There were moments when his stories, paired with the breathtaking scenery around us, genuinely brought me to tears. Driving through the Highlands while listening to him share the history and stories of this beautiful part of Scotland is something I know will stay with me as a lifelong memory. What stood out most, was how much Neil cared for his passengers. We always felt safe and looked after, and his calm, responsible approach to driving gave us complete confidence throughout the day. That meant so much to us, especially travelling with my children. Neil was also incredibly kind and welcoming to my kids. They absolutely adored him and still talk about how funny and wonderful he was! If you’re considering this tour, I cannot recommend Neil highly enough. He didn’t just show us Scotland — he helped us feel it, understand it, and create memories that our family will cherish for years to come. Thank you, Neil, for an unforgettable day and memories that will last a lifetime. — P.S. We hope Dobby enjoys his new ribbon/nose ring!! -S and J
Full day excursion with Phil as driver and guide. It was a very enjoyable day. Phil gave relevant information on historical figures that related to the areas with humour in a chatty description. Music also supplemented commentary nicely The Highlands of Scotland is scenic and picturesque. Definitely worth a visit
Beautifully scenery stops as well as great historical stories. We had Phil as our guide and we was great. I especially liked how there was a selection of music intertwined with the stories, made a long bus ride go by pretty quickly.
Ross, our guide, is awesome. He is very knowledgeable of history, and significant sites that we visited and other sites we could see from the distance. Our stops were good and the weather was helpful, except for the lunch town where we found many restaurants closed. The volume inside the bus could be a little louder to counter people talking in the seats in front of behind our seats.
This all day tour was packed with basically as many remarkable locations in the Scotland highlands as possible. We stopped at scenic overviews, both national parks, lovely small towns, and (of course) the incredible loch lochness. Ross was our guide, and he provided amazing storytelling about all of the history surrounding the locations we visited. Lastly, usually these tours seem to bundle tourists into one small stop for lunch or an activity. My favorite thing about this tour was the freedom of choice. We stopped in town for lunch and picked any restaurant that looked good. None of the usual buffet business (thank god). At lochness, there was the option of a boat tour or to just roam the area as you saw fit. The style of this tour made it feel less like an easy tourist attraction and more like traveling.
Ross was awesome!! He was such a great story teller, his suggestions were on point, and so was his driving. Special shoutout to his playlist as well, we enjoyed it from beginning to end! Definitely looking forward to coming back to Scotland and taking another trip.
Well done … great guy … Ross Very knowledgeable…. Good sense of humor …
