Dutch in Lower Manhattan
This was an incredible Dutch Lower Manhattan experience. If you want to go back in time and really get a sense of what Lower Manhattan was like during the Dutch period then you must take this tour with Ann. It was easy to follow along and the different characters we're introduced to was very cool. The tour far surpassed my expectations. Can't wait to go on another tour with Ann.

Thanks so much! It was my pleasure showing you around. Stand-by, I am in the midst of writing a Dutch Brooklyn tour .. that will be next!

A casual stroll down history lane
Ann is very friendly and knowledgeable about all sorts of Dutch history in lower Manhattan. And not just Dutch history -- if there are interesting things to tell about buildings and signs along the way, she will talk about those as well. She also shows an eagerness to learn about the things she may not know yet, so our tour was as much a conversation as it was a sequence of small history lessons. Very much enjoyed this one.

Professional Guide despite the lack of interest of the city!!
The Guide was professional and well prepared. On the other hand, it is sad that New York City has preserved almost nothing of its origins. For example, places reserved for ruins, walls and foundations of the first arrivals as other cities have done. There was a place where you could see some ruins through a dirty plexiglass and everything is not maintained. There were some wall plaques but even in one place a commemorative plaque was removed. But the Guide did his best to make our visit interesting. Thank you.

Great walks and great talks!
Ann I'm so glad I booked your tour of the Dutch historical sites, we had such great talks and you opened up a whole new side of the city for me! Time flew by and I was left with the most amazing impressions, photo's, and new destinations to explore.
Also greeting to Beth, your colleague who joined us.
