Enjoyable trip to the Zoo
Brilliant Day at Dublin Zoo. I always try and go to a zoo when away if possible and Dublin zoo was next on the list.
Not a huge zoo, and we were able to walk around after seeing everything we wanted to in 4 hours.
The zoo wasn't overly busy but plenty of people there enjoying the day.
We decided on an uber to get us there from the bus station (14 euros each way).
The plan of the zoo itself appears to go round in a circle and all of the exhibits are in numerical order which helps you see everything.
Drink and ice cream seemed reasonably priced for what you got.
Ok so the animals, saw plenty throughout the day. I got there at 11am and the animals were active. The lions and tigers are always hard to see in any zoo so not something id moan about. The Gorillas are my absolute favourite and loved watching them. The keeper also came with some veggies for them and she is a fellow scouser which was nice.
The only thing i could say is the windows could do with cleaning more often so you can see a bit better.
Overall a really enjoyable visit to add to my tour of zoos
