Lots of beverages+Knowledge!
This was such a fun tour! We stopped at four different bars that took about 3-3.5 hours total. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the bars, beers and local history as well. Our tour guide really started our trip out in the BEST of ways with great recommendations following the tour too. The walking part wasn’t that bad either, very walkable. The only thing I wish was made more clear was that the tour included the guide +knowledge, and did not include the drinks at each bar. It simply was not clear in the description. It wouldn’t have kept me from going, but would have liked to know in advance. Thanks for a great day!
Operator response
Hey guys, thanks so much for joining us on Drinks on Foot! I hope you had a great time in Ireland. It was lovely meeting you, showing you some of my favourite Dublin pubs, and sharing music, drinks and stories together.
In response to your comment that it wasn’t clear that drinks were not included, When booking via the pass, it is necessary to tick a box confirming that you fully understand that the cost of drinks and food is not included in the tour. I can see from the records you ticked this box. I sorry you forgot this.
I’m very sorry if this was missed or forgotten, but I do feel the information is made quite clear during the booking process. That said, I really appreciate you flagging it, and I’ll look into how we can make this even clearer for pass holders going forward.
We don’t include the cost of drinks in the tour price as it allows us to keep the entry fee exceptionally low, while also giving guests the freedom to choose how much or how little they would like to drink during the experience.
For future reference, we also offer private tours directly through our website where the cost of drinks is included. These do come at a higher price, but it’s another option we’re happy to provide.
Thanks again for joining us, and I hope you enjoyed your time in Dublin.

Great walk with four very different pubs
Take this trip early on in your stay, you get lots of interesting hints and suggestions for places to visit. A really engaging walk that gives a varied picture of the pub culture in Dublin, always with focus on the Dubliners themselves. Great tour, strongly recommended.

Great tour - book it!!
My husband and I went on this tour with Kevin yesterday afternoon and what a fun experience it was. Kevin chose 4 different venues, all of which were great. As most food/drink tours we have been on, this did not disappoint, especially from the standpoint of meeting the others that are doing the same. Kevin had said we would feel like family at the end and there were some definite “oh so glad we met you” etc. Highly recommend this tour.
