Allow more than 2.5 hours

This tour is 2.5 hours before entering the Guinness building. Several people in our group were short on time because of not knowing how long to plan for the tour and exploring the building with activities scheduled after the tour..

Misleading Title

This tour was NOT what we expected at all. This was a walking/talking tour as opposed to going to the Guiness Storehouse alone. The title said "House of Guinness with Guinness Storehouse and Brazen Head Pub". It's not until you read the fine print that you see it's a walking tour. We didn't get to the Storehouse until 4:30 (the tour started at 2:00. Although our guide was knowledgeable and good, it's just not what we expected. By the time we got to the Storehouse, we were so exhausted and tired with sore backs that we didn't even do the Guinness experience thing. We got our free pint, visited the gift shop and left. Disappointing. The title is very misleading. We've done many Viator tours and been please with all of them until now.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback, Cynthia. As outlined in the tour description, this experience is a walking tour through Dublin's Guinness heritage that leads up to your visit at the Storehouse and a stop at the Brazen Head, rather than a direct visit to the Storehouse alone. We're pleased your guide's knowledge stood out, and appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the pacing. Guests on this very tour consistently rate it 5 stars, praising the storytelling woven through Dublin's brewing history. Best wishes for your future travels. The LetzGo City Tours Team.

Stellar!

Elisa was absolutely amazing! So much fun facts and information! Really took care of the group and we just had a great time all together. Would definitely recommend to everyone to have a tour with her. The whole tour was walking and hearing about the history of Guinness and the family and was finished with a pint of Guinness at a local pub before going to the Guinness storehouses.

Guinness tour with Mario

Mario was full of great information and led us on an incredible tour. Full of knowledge and small tidbits that made for a wonderful day.

His enthusiasm clearly helped you get the most from both the history and the experience. Thank you for choosing us!

More than a stout

My family and I booked this tour at the last minute and could not have been more pleased. Our guide, Martin Drew, was knowledgeable and entertaining. He knew all about Dublin’s history despite being a “blow in”. A definite must do and ask for Martin if possible.

Operator response

Andrea, Martin's ability to tell Dublin's story with both depth and entertainment—even as someone new to the city—transformed your last-minute booking into a definite highlight. That blend of historical knowledge and engaging personality is exactly what the House of Guinness with Guinness Storehouse and Brazen Head Pub tour is designed to deliver. Thank you for the recommendation and for choosing LetzGo City Tours!

Great tour, great value for money, great tour guide!

Bryan was a great tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable about Guinness and we enjoyed chatting with him about Ireland in general. He’s very passionate about history and was great at answering our random questions! We really enjoyed this time on our cruise stop. Only tip for fellow cruise-stop travelers, make sure you book an early tender time and account for travel into Dublin from the port! It’s about an hour from port to the meetup point. Overall 10/10 experience and we loved Dublin and the Storehouse!

Operator response

Bryan's passion for Guinness and Irish history clearly made this tour a highlight of your cruise stop, Gracie. Because the meeting point sits about an hour from the port, we always recommend cruise guests book an early tender time to allow for that transfer before the House of Guinness and Storehouse experience begins. So glad Dublin and the Storehouse left a lasting impression. Thank you for choosing LetzGo City Tours!

I was charged for the tour and our guide didn't show up. We were there at least 20 minutes earlier than our scheduled tour. I hope to get a refund.

Operator response

Tanya, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to learn that you believe you missed your tour. After carefully reviewing our records, we can confirm that the tour departed as scheduled and all of the other guests booked on the experience successfully met our guide and completed the tour without any issues. Our guides are instructed to arrive at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time, making themselves clearly visible with LetzGo City Tours identification and remaining there until the tour begins. Unfortunately, our records show that you were marked as a no-show, as we were unable to locate or check you in before departure. Our House of Guinness experience is one of Dublin's highest-rated and award-winning walking tours. It includes a fascinating guided journey through the historic Liberties, stories of the Guinness family and their remarkable legacy, visits to iconic locations such as The Brazen Head, reserved timed entry to the Guinness Storehouse, and plenty of local history and insights from one of our expert Dublin guides. We are genuinely sorry that you were unable to join the tour and appreciate how disappointing that must have been. We wish you all the very best for the remainder of your time in Ireland.
