MagicSplash, the “Capital of the Caribbean” near Rome, is a tropical island of over 40,000 m², with plants and palm trees, and a white sand beach that stays cool. Playa del Sol offers 1,000+ loungers with natural straw umbrellas. The park includes a wave pool, Onda del Caribe, ideal for family fun. MagicSplash features Tiki Bay, a 12-meter-high water playground in a pool; Laguna Tiburon, a spray park for young children; and Cala Tortuga with four slides, including Mini Cone and Mini Boomerang for kids and adults; Twister and Aqua Vortex, two thrilling slides for adventure lovers. In 2026, four new exciting slides: Typhoon, Raft, Storm, Tempest will bring even more fun. Bayahibe Wellness & Spa offers a hot tub and a 400 m² wellness pool with jets and hydromassage. They "stole" our stuff from our beach umbrellas and made us pay to get it back. DO NOT GO THERE. But if you don't want a beach umbrella OR you stay under the beach umbrella there are many nice slides. But if you want to use the beach umbrella even if you are on a slide, put up a "DO NOT TOUCH" sign.
The playground staff was truly exceptional: super professional, attentive, and kind to the children. Unfortunately, some rules, such as the one about picnics or the overly rigid schedules, seemed a bit excessive and limiting to me for families. I am pausing to highlight some figures present at the snack bar and in the food area. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Lucia, who with her utmost professionalism manages everything to perfection, demonstrating a level of attention and dedication to hospitality that is truly extraordinary. And a round of applause to Daniele, whose frying is simply superlative and makes the experience even more pleasant; naturally, it must be extended to all the other staff members. Thank you !!!
