Steve was an AMAZING tour guide!
Steve picked us up at our Airbnb which was way out in the boonies. He arrived about 10 minutes early, so he made sure he was punctual. He let us know that he was there, but he didn't hurry us to get going because he knew he was early. We were a private party of four, and he catered to our every need. He was a WEALTH of information and answered our every question in great detail. Very knowledgeable man! He was always concerned with giving us the experience that we wanted. It was raining most of the day, but we made the best of it. He knew everything we wanted to do and was sure to include it. We had a full day tour of the Dingle Peninsula, and it was great that we could all enjoy the tour without one of us having to be the driver. He also provided more information than we could have gotten on our own. He originally thought we'd be back about 6:00, but with everything we did it was almost 7:00. (That was not an issue for us, and if time would have been an issue, I'm sure he would have honored that time constraint.) It was obvious that his concern was for keeping us happy and giving us the experience we wanted, and he certainly didn't disappoint. I would JUMP at the opportunity to have Steve as our guide again in the future. You will not go wrong booking a tour with Steve! If you want a personal experience with the things YOU want to see and do with as much time as you want at each stop, Steve is the tour guide you want to have! Thanks so much, Steve, for catering to our every need and answering the multitude of questions we asked. MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words and for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review.
It truly means a great deal to me. I’m delighted that you enjoyed your time exploring the Dingle Peninsula and that the day lived up to what you had hoped for, despite the Irish weather doing its best to challenge us.
It was an absolute pleasure meeting you all and showing you around this special part of Ireland. I always try to make each tour personal, relaxed, and tailored to what guests are most interested in, so I’m very grateful that this came across during your day with me.
Your comments about the information, flexibility, and overall experience honestly mean more than you know, especially as a small local business.
Thank you again for your support, your great company throughout the day, and for choosing Steve’s Peninsula Tours. I truly hope our paths cross again someday, and you’ll always be very welcome back in Dingle.

Dingle Peninsula & Ring of Kerry: A wonderful two-day private tour with Steven
We had a wonderful two-day private tour with Steven, exploring the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry. Steven was pleasant, polite, and always punctual. He was very accommodating and patient, going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable throughout the trip.
He’s knowledgeable about the history, culture and sights, and brought us to amazing, breathtaking locations. His dining recommendations in Dingle town were also excellent.
Steven made our Dingle trip truly special — a perfect mix of stunning views and warm hospitality. Steven was a wonderful guide — professional, thoughtful and passionate about what he does. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Ireland!

Memorable tour!
We booked a custom full-day tour of the Dingle Peninsula and a transfer to Galway with Steve’s Peninsula Tours. Steve is a thoughtful and knowledgeable guide who grew up in Dingle. We had a great day with him touring the area. He listens to your requests and plans the day according to your interests.
If you like he is happy to provide interesting narrative along the ride peppered with fascinating historical facts and stories about the area and the people, delivered in an effortless and approachable manner. He is also very happy to allow his guests to enjoy quiet downtime to reflect and soak up the incredible landscape, and is very observant and picks up cues from the passenger. He has a wealth of historical and local information spanning hundreds of years and effortlessly works these into the narration of the ride in a comfortable and conversational manner rather than a “tour guide” style. In short, our day with Steve was the hands down high point of our trip to Ireland! The landscape and views were like nothing we have ever seen. Steve made the trip a wonderful experience.

Best driver in Dingle!
Steven was a fantastic driver during my time in Ireland. I truly cannot recommend him enough!
I booked him for 3 separate days for tours and transports around Ireland. He is an absolute professional and a wealth of knowledge on Ireland and the Dingle region.
When my plans shifted due to weather, he was ready with fantastic alternatives and let me choose. He went above and beyond making sure that during longer trips we had time to stop for coffee, lunch, or even unique hikes or lookout points. You can tell he cares about making the experience special vs just getting from point A to B. Thanks to him, I was able to see a lot more of Ireland during my trip.
I had inquired with a handful of different transport companies in the Dingle area and booking with Steven was one of the best decisions of my trip. If you are looking for a tour or transport, you will be in good hands booking with him.
Operator response
Christa, thank you so much for this wonderful review. It was a pleasure looking after you over the three days and I’m delighted the flexible plans, weather work-arounds, and extra stops for coffee, lunch and scenic hikes helped you see more of Dingle and beyond. I really appreciate your kind words about the tours and transfers—and your recommendation means a great deal to a small local business like mine.
If you’re ever back in Ireland, I’d love to help you explore more—whether it’s another day on the Dingle Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry, or airport transfers to start and finish your trip smoothly. Until then, thank you again for choosing me and for taking the time to share your experience.
Warm regards,
Steven

Great time on Dingle Peninsula!
My husband and I had a wonderful time on Steve’s full day tour of the Dingle Peninsula. He took us both on and off the beaten path, viewing scenic vistas and very interesting historical sites. We learned a lot about the area, from history to current life on the peninsula. He was engaging, informative, thoughtful, and attentive to our interests and comfort. We were fortunate that the weather cooperated, with times of sun between the showers, and he offered us time for short hikes to amazing views, and time in Dingle also, as we were staying in Killarney. I highly recommend touring with Steve.

Phenomenal, Niche Guided Tour
Words cannot express how delighted I am with Steve's high attention to detail and wonderful focus on customer satisfaction! Before I explain further, I first need to state that I was a solo female traveler on this particular trip to Ireland. I needed a very specific and different kind of tour, focusing on the war activities of my grandfather in the 1920s in Kerry. From when we first started emailing one another mid-May, I felt a deep sense of professionalism and comfort with Steve. I knew that I was going to be alone in the car for several days with a driver I had never met. Many of those days were long and in various parts of the country. Therefore, it was deeply important that I felt very safe. I can honestly tell you that from the moment Steve picked me up at the train station in Limerick to the time he dropped me off at Dublin Airport four days later, I ALWAYS felt relaxed and secure. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. Additionally, some of these stops were in very remote parts of the Sliabh Mis Mountains, a stunning part of the Dingle Peninsula. So, if you happen to be traveling independently in Ireland or know someone who wants to but doesn't know where to begin, I can't think of a more respectful and honest tour guide than Steve!
As I stated before, Steve and I had been corresponding, nearly on a daily basis, all the way from the middle of May until a few days before the trip. Not only did he deeply plan the logistics of the many stops I was requesting, but he also used his contacts to find and reach out to local historians and distant relatives of mine. For example, I have a cousin that my mother had been close with, but over the years, our family had lost touch. Without my asking, Steve was very proactive and contacted a local organization who was affiliated with this cousin. An individual there was able to contact the family, and we were able to meet up for lunch. Because of this, Steve helped develop a relationship with my long-lost cousins! He also kindly visited the bookstore in Dingle prior to my visit, picking up historical publications that are related to my grandfather's war activities. As many of the stops I was asking him to do were outside the usual tourist spots (remote soldier hideouts, location of ambush sites, war memorials, etc.), Steve also drove to these areas prior to my arrival into Ireland so he could learn the exact routes and more about the locations. Knowing that he took the time to experience the journey and sites himself before the tour actually began made it even more clear to me that Steve wanted to be certain this trip was of really high-quality!
Throughout our travels, Steve always drove his beautifully clean Skoda at a comfortable speed and was consistently on-time. One day in particular was planned to be very long with numerous stops (7am pick-up, 9pm drop-off). He always made these stops within the time frame that was expected. Also on that day, a local historian showed us numerous sites revolving around Irish history, which resulted in several last-minute visits to off-the-beaten-track locations that were not on the original itinerary. Steve accommodated these stops with grace and an open mind. Furthermore, he drove the hairpin turns and cliffside roads of Kerry confidently and responsibly, thereby giving me tremendous peace of mind.
In addition to all of the driving Steve had to do within a condensed four-day window, he took incredible video and drone footage of my adventures. Keep in mind this is an extra charge - totally worth every penny, and I am beyond thrilled with the results! I returned from my journey only four days ago. The video compilation he created, including footage of my walking through the mountains, numerous photographs, as well as my grandfather playing the accordion in the background, has already been completed. This is another example of Steve's expertise and efficiency, helping to make my trip very much worthwhile and memorable.
Overall, I would highly recommend Steve as a tour guide not only within Kerry, but also other parts of Ireland. He tailored my trip to exactly what I needed while also providing other options and suggestions. I enjoyed good conversation as well as hearing about the background of various spots within the country. I feel Steve is very reliable, knowledgeable and thoughtful. Whether I am traveling solo, with my husband or with a small group, I will be certain to book Steve again the next time I am in Kerry!
Steve, "go raibh míle maith agat" for making my visit back to Ireland worry-free and oh-so memorable!
Operator response

Creating meaningful and memorable moments for guests is always my priority, and I’m so pleased to know the trip left such a positive impression.
Thank you once again for choosing Steve’s Peninsula Tours. I will always remember the time we shared exploring the beauty and history of Kerry.
