Our wine tour through the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune vineyards was one of the highlights of our trip to Burgundy. The small-group format made the experience feel relaxed, personal, and unhurried, giving us plenty of opportunities to ask questions and truly appreciate the region. Orlane, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into the history, winemaking traditions, and unique terroir that make these vineyards so special. Visiting charming villages, walking among the vines, and tasting exceptional wines while learning what makes each appellation unique was unforgettable. The itinerary was perfectly paced, with a wonderful balance of scenic drives, vineyard and cellar visits, and tastings. It never felt rushed, and every stop offered something new to discover. Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply curious about Burgundy, this tour is an excellent way to experience the beauty and culture of the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, informative, and memorable Burgundy wine experience. We'd happily do it again!
This was a perfect way to experience Burgundy in a day! Loved getting to drive along wine road and taste from all the best spots!
This was a great experience seeing the local landscape and traveling to 3 local wineries, learning about the local wines as well as understanding the history of the region.
Valentin was an excellent tour guide. Not only did we learn about the region but he enriched us with the local history. He shared details not found in guide books and little anecdotes about people, the characters that make this place so special. It was a great way to spend the day
Good experience with excellent guider and group!! I’m happy to successfully buy and try everything I want.
Gorgeous day out, fantastic guide who spoke excellent English and taught us about the region and its wine in a way that was interesting and. It at all pretentious. Three tastings, all very different settings which added to the experience and a nice amount of time for lunch and a wander in Beaune. Only addition for me would be small snacks with the tastings, charcuterie or cheese would really elevate the experience and fit with the price band in my view.
Bonjour, Thank you very much for your feedback, we truly appreciate it! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the experience overall. Regarding snacks, in France it is quite common not to serve food during wine tastings, as it can alter the aromas and taste of the wine. The focus is usually on fully appreciating the wines themselves. Thank you again for your comments, and we hope to welcome you on another tour in the future! Best regards, Jeanne from the Ophorus Team
Valentines knowledgeable of the area was exceptional and the history and tastings he provided were first class. 10/10
We had a great day tasting wine. Valentin was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the wi e regio . We learned a lot. My only wish was we could have seen the wine process but all in all the tour was fabulous.
This was a really fantastic tour. Our guide, Adam, was so passionate and knowledgeable about both the wines and the region. He also conveyed the history of the region going back over a thousand years to the beginning of the winemaking industry there. We got to taste around 15 different wines (reds, whites and sparkling) at three different wineries. We are not at all wine aficionados but we really enjoyed the whole day and would highly recommend this to anyone, whether they have a lot of experience with wine or are just getting started on their wine journey.
Use the map link provided by the company and don't rely on Google Maps! The tour guide and wine experts provided us with a huge amount of history and information.
