Ahmed is an excellent tour guide. He is very proficient in English, extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history, has a good sense of humor, and he takes good photos. We stayed at the Luxor Hilton and conviently Nasco have a booking office there, We did 3 trips with them and also a ride from Luxor to Aswan, throughout the trips the vehicles were clean and modern people carriers, we had very knowledgeable guides For me the trip to Abydos and Dendera was the best place to visit.. Very professional tour company
If you want to have the best time and get the best photos request Khalid Fouad as your guide! We spent 2 days with him and they were so memorable and special. He time everything perfectly and thoughtfully to avoid crowds, never rushed us, was fun and knowledgeable. He made sure we saw and did all the best things! Such an amazing experience! We organised it very last minute with Marina and she planned everything perfectly. We asked for an additional tour of Denderah on the day and they were very accommodating. I took two amazing day trips from Luxor, one to Dendara Temple and one to the Valley of the Kings. The driver was professional, the car very clean, and the trip was well organized. Our guide was Ahmed Elkallaf and driver Nageh they were great, very polite. He explained several curiosities about Dendara. Very patient and no rush. It is a tour that must be done in Luxor.

We booked this tour from the Hilton Luxor location, they contract local guides. We did a half day tour of the East Bank (Luxor and Karnak Temples) and a half day tour to Dendarah. We had Abdul, highly recommend requesting him for any Luxor tour, he was beyond fantastic, his English was perfect and knowledge extensive. He went the extra mile to ensure we had an enjoyable stay in Luxor. We learned an incredible amount about Ancient Egypt as well as modern Luxor culture. The people of Egypt are so friendly and welcoming, without a guide it can be difficult to see the real Egyptian people and get away from the tourist traps and scams. And Dendarah/Hathor Temple cannot be visited without a guide/ travel permissions. These things are very affordable to do and the days we had guides ended up costing less than the days we were on our own, due to the protection from scams and people chasing you down demanding tips for nothing. The price of the tour included the guide and driver, van, and temple tickets, as well as 'tips' to random people who would've probably extorted us for a lot more. We tried to make sure we covered the random tips when we tipped our guide. I can't even describe how much we appreciated and enjoyed our guided tours in Luxor, highly recommend!
