Your highly experienced pilots possess the skills and knowledge to take advantage of the unique airstrip location just outside the road entrance into Denali NP. 99% of the flight is within Denali National Park, giving you a comprehensive tour of its wild and majestic beauty. Fly among jagged mountaintops and over tumbling glaciers on a stunning 200-mile flight to get within ½ mile and circle Denali to see every spectacular corner (weather permitting). Special Note(s): This tour is headset equipped, fully narrated and all seats are window seats on twin engine aircraft. Precise flight routes are dictated by current weather conditions. Anticipated flight routes will be discussed with passengers during a pre-flight briefing. Flight time is 60 - 70 minutes.

- Denali (Mt. McKinley) is 80 miles away from our airstrip. Weather conditions at the Mountain will often be different from those in our area. Please feel free to call for the current pilot’s reports but know that we do not make decisions based on weather until about an hour before flight time. We will always send a driver to pick-up locations with the most up-to date information at the allotted pick-up times. Exact route and specific sights are weather dependent but due to our airstrip's unique location, we are able to access either side of the Alaska Range when others cannot. We have the highest success rate of showing Denali to our guests of any tour option, anywhere.

I so wanted to love this flight. My wife loved it, but she was sitting on the left side. I did not love it, I was disappointed. I was sitting on the right side. The views were all aimed at the left side. I barely saw the mountain. The woman behind me also complained. I know they have to follow a flight path but they need to find a solution. At this price I would not recommend this flight.
This tops my list of amazing things. The tour was excellent, our pilot Seth was fantastic, and the views were once in a lifetime astonishing. Worth every penny
Nothing can compare to seeing the highest peaks in Denali from above! I was a little scared at first, as we took off and headed into the park, but that was quickly replaced by feelings of awe and fascination. The park is immense and you can really see this from the air. We flew around & between the peaks, and over several glaciers not visible from the ground. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. The pilot pointed out all the major sites and several groups of Dall sheep grazing way up high. It’s a must do & a great complement to the bus tour.
of all the different excursions we booked during our stay, this was the best. flying so close to all the passes and mountains was truly amazing. our pilot was top notch and we had a fantastic time. i highly recommend this experience.

Best excursion of the trip! Worth every penny. The picked us up at our lodge, were on time, and everything went smoothly. The flight was something we’ll always remember. Bright sunny day, great pilot and closer to the mountain than I ever imagined. Everyone gets a window seat too.
One of the most unique Alaskan things to do! Love, love, loved it. Would do it again and again as the experience would be different each time, depending on the conditions. We saw a rainbow as we were landing and that was the bow on the gift of the Denali viewing.
Our flight with Seth was incredible! The views were breathtaking! I was a bit nervous just for general purposes but once in the air and seeing Denali from the air it was like you could almost reach out and touch it. The history and stories that were provided made the excursion even more exciting. Yes it is a bit pricey but it was a once in a lifetime experience that made a lasting memory! Do IT!
