Educational

I went on a one day tour of Alexandria from Giza with my 86 year old father. We both have casually studied ancient Egypt, Macedonian, and Roman history for years. She adjusted the detail of her presentation to our level of baseline knowledge well. Our guide was very intelligent and she was flexible, adding some points of interest not originally in the itinerary. She had a strong voice that was easy to hear. She had some accent, but she live in the US and Canada, so her English vocabulary was good. She worked hard to accommodate our level of energy, understanding and interest, despite my father often being difficult to read. She was no nonsense and sincere, without bloveating about how young we looked, smart we were, etc. I walked away with a sense that we received accurate information, which is not always the case with tour guides. Most importantly, we were not dragged into some dog and pony show where ancient technology was demonstrated only to be led into a high pressure sales room. Sometimes it is nice not to feel like a pocket book.

Alexandria day tour

We had an incredible experience with Moshy in Alexandria. From start to finish, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history and culture. She shared so much insight into the history. What stood out the most was her ability to tailor the experience to our interests.

Wonderful day in Alexandria

The secrets of the beautiful city of Alexandria start to reveal themselves to you in this efficient well run tour. Our guide Moshira and driver Ahmed were not just exceptional and professional but treated us like family and friends that has known us for years. The Catacombs and the Roman theater were so unexpected and grand. After the citadel we enjoyed a lunch by the marina in an excellent fresh fish restaurant with a great view. The library of Alexandria was the highlight we missed because it is closed on Friday. A boat ride was a perfect replacement. I would definitely add this day trip if you have the time to visit this beautiful city known as the bride of the Mediterranean.

Trip of a lifetime

We spent a fantastic day with Moshy who guided us through the pyramids, the Sphinx, the Grand Egyptian Museum, as well as local delights for food with views and perfumes and a papyrus museum! So knowledgeable and great company. Thank you Moshy!
